Chapter Twenty Two

Omg! I hit 1k reads already?! Thank you my peep squad! Love to so much!

We get to the park and I throw my Apple core in the garbage. We go to the restaurant by the park first to eat and wait for 5 PM which is about an hour it's a Friday and after 5 all tickets are 25$ for all ages.

I look up at the big theatre face the entrance looking like your going in his mouth.

I've been to Luna Park only once.

We get the tickets and head in. "I'm so excited." I say looking around, "I only came here once." I tell Harrison holding his arm.

"Where do you want to start?" He asks.

"Hm. You pick."

"What about The Moon Ranger?" He points to a red and yellow ride that swings people around in a banana shaped seating where rows of people are sitting in one line.

"Ouuu yesss." I grab his hand and run over to the ride.

We wait in line for the ride. Soon we get in sitting down in beside each other we would do in front of each other if we could.

We pull the over-the-shoulder restraint down and clicking the belt in.

A worker comes over and checks everyone's seats and buckle pulling on it and pushing down on the over-the-shoulder restraint. I put my legs up a little so he doesn't squish me.

After everyone is checked they start the ride. I hold Harrison's hand.

The ride starts by going back and forth getting momentum. Then I goes all the way up making go upside down than slowly making a full spin.

A squeal escapes my lips as it does another full swing around faster then the first slowing at the top then dropping.

It swings to the side and stop for a bit leaving us laying back almost upside down, then it lets go start falling and than going upside down again.

I squeal it stops...than drops us.

The ride lasts for about a good 4 minutes.

We get off the ride. "Oh my gosh that that the funnest thing ever."

"Which one do you want to go on next?" He asks

I look at one tall ride that brings people up to the top and drops them.

"Ou!" I point at the dropping one and look at the name, "The Hair Riser looks funnn." I tell him.

"Okay let's go."

We get on the ride and strap in and like usual they check.

Then it starts by gradually getting to the top.

We hear a count down of the person who's operating it. I hold hands with Harrison. "You will dropon three; Three, two—"

It drops and I let go of Harrison's hand death gripping the handle as I scream squeezing my legs making me feeling more secure.

I breathe heavily and Harrison just dies laughing slapping his leg. He undoes the belt of his seat and I do the same.

I start laughing with Harrison thinking how ridiculous I probably sounded with my short scream.

We walk away from the ride laughing. Harrison wipes a tear away from his eye.

"Your too cute." He says now chuckling.

"I couldn't even hear your yell cause of how loud my scream was." I laugh my scream replaying in my head.

Harrison fills his lungs with air recovering. "So what next?" He giggles

I finish my laugh and wipe a tear away.
"Um.. What about the roller coasters over there?" I squint looking at the name, "Wild Mouse."

"Lead the way."

I give him a bigger smile and take his hand dragging him behind me.

We get on the ride and it starts

(The ride is just like 'The Fly' in Canada's Wonderland for those Canadian's reading this 😁)

The ride consists of turning right, right then left, left. Down and up and right, left, right, left.

I constantly try not to crush Harrison as it turns on the Rights and he does the same with the Lefts. We laugh the whole time noticing each other's attempt to not crush each other.

Then each right turn I make a half barfing noise? Please tell me you guys not what I mean.

I stick my tongue out opening my mouth. Harrison laughs, "Yleh," I cross my one eye as I put all my weight on Harrison. I start laughing with him.

At the end when it's only a few up and downs which I call the kiddy ride ending "WHOOO!" I sing when we go over the bumps. Harrison does it with me at the end and I start laughing with him holding his arm.

He gets out helping me out. We make our way down the stairs.

The sun starts getting lower in the sky, "Let's go on the Ferris Wheel when theres sunset then again a night—" I yelp as Harrison pulls me to his body. He connects his lips with mine. "Mm." I deep the kiss then pull apart, "What was that for?" I ask

"You're so silly and energetic I love it." Harrison says

I giggle, "Well for that comment." I peek him on the lips and smile.

"So what's next my love."

I give him a blushing smile. "Hmm. What about The Rotor." I point to the big sign.

"Ooo. Let's do it." He grabs my hand this time and drags me to the rid.

We walk in the cylinder a big red post in the middle.

"Okay everyone hold on to the red bar. Everyone does and the lot slowly rises covering the door half way. "Now everybody up against the wall. " He tells us to stay two feet apart from each other, "Alright guys, you legs your back and head on the wall at all times. If you get sick or scared just yell stop but be very loud and clear." The man says. Everyone says yeah or okay and some nod. "You guys ready?" Everyone says yeah, "Enjoy your ride." He says then starts it.

The ride slowly starts then goes a bit faster my breath hitches in my throat.

"Oh my god." One teenage girl says and starts giggling nervously. Same girl.

The ride last for a two minutes. I start to feel faint when the ride stops. I try to just make it through the descending of the floor. The door opens everyone leaves and I get out and immediately sit down on one of the concrete blocks. I hold my head.

"You alright Tess?" Harrison asks. "You exited pretty quick."

"Yeah I just feel a little faint." And before I could say Bondi everything goes black.
