My eyes snap open, the alarm blaring in my ears.I quickly turn it off and sit up, trying to shake off the fog. Was that all just a dream? I look over at Hayden, still fast asleep, looking so peaceful. I never would've imagined him to be abusive.
She stirs in his sleep his eyes opening, "What's wrong babe?"
"I don't know. I just had the weirdest dream."
"What was it about?L he asks his voice grumbly with sleep.
"I...." I trail off, unable to remember myself now. "I don't remember." I laugh softly, trying to shake it off. "Guess I'd better get to work." I lean over and plant a kiss on his lips.
He hums in approval. "Have a good day, baby."
"Thanks." I quickly get ready, have breakfast, and head out toward Bondi Beach..

LOL YOU THOUGHT! Did I get you? Hehe don't hate me c:

After the reception, everyone says their goodbyes and offers their congratulations. I decide not to open the wedding presents there, choosing to do it privately later and thank everyone personally. Honestly, with my pregnancy hormones, I know I'd end up in tears. Most of the gifts will probably be baby-related, and the rest will be so thoughtful that I'd cry even more.
And let me tell you...there was a lot of crying.
"Oh my god, Harrison, look!" I hold up the cutest pair of baby sandals, a gift from Chappo, along with a $150 gift card to Baby Bunting which was so generous of him.
Tears start welling up in my eyes.
"Tess, what's wrong?" Harrison asks, his voice soft with concern.
"They're just so cute!" I cry out, tears streaming down my face.
Harrison chuckles, "Aww." He opens his arms, and I collapse into them, sobbing. He's definitely going to need to wring out his shirt after all these gifts.

Whippet bought us a stroller, and while I really wanted to refuse because of the price, I knew it wouldn't be right to turn down such a thoughtful gift. He also got us a baby handprint and footprint kit, which really got to me. I cried a lot over that one, knowing it would be such a precious keepsake.
Deano got us a bunch of newborn diapers, a baby monitor, and a $50 gift card for Baby Bunting, which was super practical and thoughtful.
Hoppo had actually gotten us a car seat and carrier before the wedding and even showed us how to install it in the car. He said it might be a little early to set it up, but he believed it was never too soon to learn.
Jesse got us an espresso machine with a letter that said, Trust me, you're gonna need your coffee once that baby's born. Jesse had recently had a baby boy with his girlfriend, so he knew exactly what we were in for!
Maxi gave us a $150 UberEats gift card with a letter that read, For the days when Harrison burns dinner. I couldn't stop laughing, though Harrison didn't find it as funny at first. He pouted for a bit, but in the end, we both had a good laugh about it.
Harries had gave us 100$ cash and voucher for a spa day for the both of us as well as an included facial and a card that read, For the newlywed couple, and a little treat after or before the baby's born. Gotta keep up the good looks and get some R&R while you can! Classic Harries, all about the looks and relaxation.
"When's our flight tomorrow?" I asked.
"5 a.m.," he reminded me.
"So we'll need to leave around 3, then," I replied. We'd booked a flight to Fiji for our honeymoon. It was only a short flight from Australia, and a lot cheaper than going to Hawaii, which we had originally planned.
"We have about 5 hours, we should pack and then get some rest." Harrison says
"Agreed."
~
Once we finish packing, I couldn't be more glad to finally take a nap.
I try to climb into bed, but let out a little grunt as my belly starts to get in the way. Harrison swoops me up in his arms, bridal style. "Allow me." I giggle.
He gently lays me down on the bed, pulls the covers over me, and then climbs in beside me. He pulls me close, offering himself as my body pillow.
I inhale his fresh scent as I cuddle into him, his heartbeat steady. My eyes slowly drift shut to the sound of his heartbeat and the comforting fragrance of his cologne.
~
I wake up to the alarm going off, shifting and stretching a bit before cuddling back into his chest-he's just too comfortable. He plays with my hair, soothing me. "Mmm," I hum.
He chuckles softly, "We do have to go though Tess."
I groan softly, burying my face deeper into his chest, reluctant to leave the warmth of his embrace. "Do we really have to?" I mumble, my voice muffled by his shirt.
He chuckles, his hand still gently running through my hair. "Yes, Tess, we have a flight in three hours."
I sigh dramatically, pulling away just enough to look at him. "Three hours? Ugh, can't we just stay here all day? It's too comfy."
He grins, giving me a playful squeeze. "I wish. But you'll love Fiji when we get there."
I reluctantly sit up with a struggle. "Fine, fine. But you're not making this easy," I tease, glancing at the clock. "We better get moving then."
He watches me with a smirk, his arms still outstretched like he's ready to pull me back into his warmth. "Alright, but I'm holding you to that nap when we get there," he says.
I roll my eyes but smile as I stand automatically putting a hand on my back.
I turn to see Harrison's eyes roaming over my body. I smirk, "Like what you see?"
"I do, my baby momma," he smiles, and I can't help but giggle at what he said. Never in my life would I have thought he'd say that.
It's kinda hot
