Chapter Seventy Six

I sigh again and sit in a chair near the snack table.

"Okay. Yeah. Love you too." I hear Harrison's voice once it quiet from the few seconds of silence before another song starts. It starts quietly.

My heart tightens. Love you too?

I grab a handful of crisps and shove them in my mouth angrily chewing.

Gotten over me have you? I think frowning at that annoyingly innocent Sexy body of his.

"Who called you?" I hear Jesse ask

"Oh it's just my mum." He tells him giving a smile as he holds his beer.

My face softens, well duh. Wow you get angry to easily. I think to myself.

"What about? If you don't mind asking." Jess smiles

"Well I'm—" The music starts to get louder, I lean forward trying to hear what he was saying.

My chair, only on two legs goes too parallel and I fall off my chair it hitting my head.

"Ow.." I mutter.

"Shit you alright Tess?" Jake asks

He takes the chair off me and puts it on its four legs. He puts a hand out and I grab it, Jake pulls me to my feet.

I chuckle, embarrassed. "Yeah I'm okay, thanks for your help." I smile

"No problem." He returns it.

I look at Harrison and he looks at me frowning with question a bit.

Great now Harrison is gonna think I'm drunk. I think.

I brush off my dress. I stumble a bit my ankle not liking that I bumped it.

"Woah now." Jake chuckles

"Have too many beers?" He asks

"No I did have any. It's just my ankle." I tell him

Wondering why I wore my heel in the first place, I sit on the chair and take my them off.

"Thought Harrison would be with you."

"He had a call. He's talking to Olivia right now."

"Ah okay. Makes sense. Well anyways I'm going to get the games set up. You have fun."

"Okay." I smile, "Will do." He returns it and walks away

I sigh my smile fading once he leaves. I look up and look at Harrison who is in a conversation with Olivia now.

I bite my bottom lip, I really messed up on him didn't I?

I take my cup from off the table and put it to my lips and taking a sip.

I sit back and give a sigh knowing that it will take a while before their conversation is over. I doze off my eyes slowly closing, I did have one hell of a day today at work.

After a few minutes I hear, "Game time!" Olivia shouts startling me awake.

I blink a couple time to process where I am. "Tess you coming Sleepyhead." Ryan asks

"Oh right. Games." I get up and go over to sit on the couch beside Ryan who sits beside Maxi his cousin.

I stifle a yawn.

"Okay now. We are going to play some truth or dare. BUT instead of asking the person truth or dare you're going to pick from this bowl which chooses for you and tells you what your dare or truth will be. If you get a blank that means the person who picked you to chose has to give you your dare or truth of there choosing. Everyone got it?" Olivia ask. Everyone nods, "Any Questions?"
