Chapter Eighty Four

I sit in the golf cart with Kb. I watch Harrison hit his ball.

It sores through the air. "Daaaaaammnnn." I sing as it flys

It hits the ground bouncing again in the air.

I clap and whistle, "Nice goin bAbY!"

"Your turn dad." He says to Kevin.

He goes over and sets his ball. After a few seconds of getting ready he hits the ball. It flys through the air faster then Harrison's.

"Holy mother of mercy." I gasp as it goes a lot far then Harrison's.

"Nice hit!" Harrison says patting his father on the back.

They get in the golf cart I switch and go in the back with Harrison letting his Father have my spot.

"You did a nice hit." I tel Harrison nudging him.

"Thanks. It's hard to past my father that golf." He laughs, "He's too good."

I give a chuckle.

The golf cart starts moving, I lean on Harrison's shoulder sighing, my eyes slowly shut subconsciously.

"Tired?" He asks

I breathe in, "Hm? Oh yeah. A bit."

He puts his arm around me and holds onto the rail with his other hand, to keep from me falling off if we go over a bump. He kisses the top of my head.

We've been out here for a solid 2 hours now and standing most of the time for the game for how much I sucked, tired me the fuck out and it's hella hot out.

I feel my body being slightly warm.

We roll to a stop, and Harrison gets out. He gives me his water bottle, "Maybe bring some more water, it is pretty hot out."

I give him a smile, "Thanks Harrison." He gives a wink and goes to his ball.

I take a sip.

After a 20 minutes of them playing and stopping at the their golf balls I don't bother getting out of the back to go in the front.

A headache starts. I groan, rubbing my temple with my free hand.

"You okay back there?" Kb asks

I don't even acknowledge her question as I feel my mind rolling in confusion. My body heat rising more then before.

I get up but my body is to exhausted that it collapses onto the ground I feel my head hit the softish ground. Everything goes black.

"Oh!" I hear Kb squeak. "Tessa!"

Harrison's P.O.V

I hear my mum screech Tessa's name making me hit my ball only a little as I look back.

I see my mum get out of the golf cart and run over to her.

I drop my golf club and run over, I quickly kneel along side her unconscious body.

"Tessa can you hear me?" My mum asks putting a hand to her fore head. She looks at me, "She's burning up."

I hear her groan her eyes opening a bit but she almost hardly conscious. I freeze with my words.

She pants, "Harrison help me get her into the shade." my mom tells me. I nod.

I help her bring her into the shade of the trees that are thankfully there, I put her legs up.

"I'll get some water." I quickly get the last water bottle from the chilly bin and grab a couple of ice cubes that live, then come back over.

I kneel along side my mum, I give her the water bottle and she opens it as I put ice cubes to her head.

My father comes over with a newspaper and starts to fan her. "Thanks dad."

"No problem son."

I slide the ice cubes on my girlfriend's fore head and cheeks. Her eyes roll around, dazed, as she pants quickly.

Her eyes start to close, "Tessa you gotta keep those eyes open. You need to drink some water."

She moans squeezing her eyes shut. I hold her back up as my mum helps some water into her mouth.

She takes a couple of sips. She leans her head back onto my shoulder. "Tess keep your eyes open."

"Tired..tired...tired..." she pants in between breaths.

"Tessa stay with me." I tell her she only moans sleepily

"Tessa stay with us darling." My mum tells her.

"Mum help me bring her over to the tree trunk. My body heat isn't gonna help any."

My mom helps me carry her to the tree. We lean her onto the tree. I bend her legs to keep them up.

"I need to get more ice cubes." I tell my parents.

I go and open the chilly bin and I see a clean towel nicely folded on the rail. I grab it and put it on top of the chilly bin and bring both over.

I dip the towel on the cold liquid an ring it put a bit. Then dab Tessa head which is sweating as well as her chest. I dab the top of her chest and neck.

My dad fans her making her cool down with the mix of the water and air.

"Tessa dear, open your eyes for me." My mum tells her, she taps her face a bit.

Tessa moans moving her head. "Drink a little more water." I tell her

Her eyes open a bit she looks at me.

She takes a few more sips, and then a little more. After a bit she's able to hold the bottle and help herself.

My dad hands her a granola bar.

"Thanks Mr. Reid." She says smally

"You can call me Kevin." He says with a half smile, he's warming up to her.

I stay by her side as my parents pack up.

"Don't end your game now..." she tells me

"Tess, your more important then finishing a game." I tell her.

"I need to know who wins..." She takes a bit to breathe then continues, "You are so close to taking first.."

I chuckle, "Winning doesn't matter to me, it's all in the fun of it. But it would nice to past my father yes." I tell her

She smiles weakly, "Let's say you did."

I chuckle giving her a peck on the cheek.
