I drop my bag, "H-Hayden what are you doing here?" I ask swallowing a lump.

"I'm sorry for what I did to you Tess. Please let me live with you again. I love you."

I frown, "Maybe you should've thought of that before you hit me for the first time a month ago. Then giving me a black eye AND making me have a mildly almost severe concussion." I yank my hand away from his.

He grabs it again pulling me close to him squeezing my arm. "Ow Hayden you're hurting me." I can't smell any alcohol on him I guess the amount of money he got from the meteor rock he oh so kindly stole from me didn't last.

"I need money."

"Well maybe you should've got a job instead of just stealing the only thing that my mum gave me before she died." The words spit out of me like molten lava.

He pushes me onto the pavement. "Don't you talk back to me."

"Hey!" He looks behind him to see Hoppo and Harrison coming up. "Do you want me to call the cops?" Hoppo asks

Harrison comes over and helps me to my feet and he guides me behind him. I put my hand on his shoulder blades peeking over his shoulder at Hayden my breath hitches.

"So you best leave before I do." Hoppo says sternly protecting his best friend's daughter.

He just makes an annoyed sound before leaving not having a chance between two fit men.

Once he leaving Harrison turns to me, "You alright?" I give him a nod.

"Thanks for saving my ass guys."

"Anytime." Hoppo says, "But be carful you don't know when the next time he's going to show up."

"Yes sir. I will." I gave them a reassuring smile. "Well. I better head out. I have some calls to do for my dad's funeral." I walk to my Jeep and drive to my apartment.

I get into my apartment and put my bag down trilling my lips.

I turn the lights on and close my door and lock it.

I get dressed into a more comfortable pjs that aren't guest worthy. I put on a cream coloured, short silk nightgown. I starts to rain, thunder soon following.

I plop on the couch with a sigh and I pick up my phone to make some calls when I hear something fall in my room. My body freezes of course the first thing I think of is something paranormal.

I cautiously walk over to my room and turn on the light, a smart thing to do in a horror movie like scene. Buuuut I didn't think to get a weapon...of course. I look to see a news paper on my dresser I quickly grab it and roll it into a weapon.

I look around and look at the balcony sliding door to see it open shivers run down my spine. "Okay now thats just creepy." I say walking toward the door with my rolled news paper weapon close to me, and quickly sliding it shut and locking it. I breathe a breath of relief for some reason even though whatever it is has came in the apartment.

I turn around and a figure is standing in front of me at the same time lightning strikes thunder soon following suit and the power goes off I scream then....I faint....I literally fainted in fear I don't think I even processed who it was or what it was. I guess instead of fight or flight. I'm fight or faint.

When I finally came to I was laying on my bed. I quickly sit up and looking around frantically.

Was that a dream? No it felt to real. I notice I have my phone in my hand maybe it was a dream...

I get up my legs feelings like jelly. I fall to the ground with a thud. Wow that dream definitely gave me the heebie jeebies. As I think of the dream a shiver runs down my back at the thought. The inner of my arm hurts as if I got poked with a needle.

I take a deep breath, "Maybe I should just go to bed. It's too late to call the chapel. So I guess I'll call tomorrow. I still don't know if I should have a funeral or just have a burial.

I cuddle one of my many pillows under the sheets. My eyes slowly shut.

**

"It was so weird. Like it felt so real but when I came to I was laying on my bed with my phone in my hand." I tell Harrison on our lunch break.

"Huh. Weird. One time I had something similar happen and it turned out that my cousin planned the whole shebang out and made it seem like it was a dream but when really it wasn't."

"But nothing was stolen so it wasn't a burglar and my door was locked when I came in. So it must've been a dream but I wasn't thinking of anything scary."

"I don't know."

"Well anyways it's in the past now." I smile

"Sure is. Hey I was wondering if you would like to go out for dinner after work."

"That's a great idea! What place do you have in mind?" I ask smiling

"It's a surprise."

"Ou I love surprises." I say my British accent smooth. "Can't Wait. Good thing I walked here today then you have to drive me home." I smile

After a crazy day of work Harrison waits by his car for me.

"Hia champ." I greet skipping over to him with a smile painted on my lips.

He opens the door for me, "Your chariot awaits." He says in an English accent bowing.

I start laughing, "You mockin me Harrison." I joke giggling.
