Chapter Forty Three

We lay her down on the medical bed carefully.

We don't really know if she hit her head or back so we put a neck brace on her and give her oxygen.

Olivia's P.O.V

My eyes slowly open then close again.

"Olivia can you hear me?" I hear Jake's voice, "Squeeze my hand if you can."

I give his hand a weak squeeze.

My eyes open again this time a little more awake.

I see Jake, standing beside me. "Did you swallow any water?" He asks

"no.." I say weakly.

"Did you hit your head or back?"

"My back.." I tell him

"Alright. Can you wiggle your toes?" He asks

I wiggle them. I feel his warm hands on my feet. "Can you push down on my hands?" I do what's told, "Any pain?"

"No."

"Okay now pull on my hands." He instructs putting his hands in mine. I pull, "Now any pain?"

"No.."

"Okay good."

I give him a smile.

He gives me a kiss, "Hey no pashing the patient." I hear Jesse's voice.

I giggle. "I didn't thank you Jess. Thanks for saving my ass."

"No problem." He smiles before walking up the stairs.

"So our we good to leave?" I ask

"Well. I would like to just get a X-ray just in case."

"Jake I have no pain." I chuckle taking off the neck brace.

I watch his face as it gives my puppy eyes. I sigh rolling my eyes. "Alright." I laugh.

"Thank you."

"If you get hurt at all Jake is never going to let you leave until you get checked." Bacon says.

I laugh.

"See everything's fiiine." I tell Jake as the Doctor leaves.

He breathes a breath of relief. "Thank goodness."

I snicker.

"What?" He asks quirking his eyebrow

"Your so cute." I smile shaking my head.

"I got an idea. How about Harrison, Tessa, you and I go to her apartment and play some card games?" I ask

"Sounds sweet."

I look at my phone, "Harrison should be off his shift in about two hours."

"When did you start knowing Harrison's schedule?"

I scoff, "When ever since he moved into my best friend's apartment."

I look at his face and it says it all. I roll my eyes scoffing. "You think I like him?" I throw my head and laugh. "Jake, Jake." I shake my head. I take his hand. "Let's get a slushy. My treat."

Once to a gas station we get inside and I put all the flavours I like and that work together in the cup.

I take a sip my face puckers, "Ou wow that is sour...but delicious!" I giggle, "It's like a delicious rainbow." I look at Jake who's quieter then usual. "What you getting?" I ask

"Blue Raspberry."

"That's it? No sour patch kids?" I ask cocking my head.
I sigh, "Babe seriously what the hell is wrong?" I nudge him

"It's nothing." He sighs

"It's definitely something cuz your not like your usual popcorn self." I smile hopping my shoulders.

I link my arm with his sipping my slushy. Once paid and out of the store I push him against the wall. I give him a big ol kiss. I take his slushy to let him pull me close.

After the long and passionate kiss I pull away breathing heavily. "Does that answer your jealousy thoughts?" He nods, "Good." I give him his slushy pecking him on the lips.

"Come on let's go." I take his hand. "We can play some card games with my bestie."

I unlock the door. To see Tessa spread out on her bed like a starfish.

"Awe Tess." Now I knew she was hella bored.

"Uh finally someone is here!" She shouts getting off of her bed. "Oh. Jake your here too."

"Yeah."

"Sorry that wasn't meant to sound like that." She laughs shaking her head clearing the cobwebs.

"So?!" I screech excitingly, "I'm going to be on Tv! Almost died today at least I got something good out of it." I laugh

"What?!" Tessa squeaks "I'm guessing you saved her?" Tessa asks Jake

"No, Jess did."

She slaps his arm, "Dude what the bloody hell!"

"Well I helped Jesse I ran up the beach to tell the tower."

She squints her eyes. Then looks at me.

"It's true."

"Now how do you know weren't you drowning?" She asks

"Well Jake loves me of course he's going to run up the beach to save me I believe him." I smile confidently puffing my chest. "Ice cream anyone?" I ask skipping over to the kitchen.

Jake's P.O.V

"Did you feed her a slushy?" Tessa asks

"Well we got one together yes."

"You're going to regret that decision."

I look at her wide eyed, I run to the kitchen. Grabbing my arm, "I think you head enough sugar."

"Is that even a thing? Too much sugar?" She giggles

"Ohhhh we should listen to some music!" She says running to Tessa's room and grabbing her speaker. "Promise it will be good."

She presses play on her favourites, Falling by Chin Injeti.

She closes her eyes swaying a little a bobbing her head to the music, "Been a long road, no body knows...what you been through..your point of view. Living in your head....tryin to wake the dead..." she sings to the song.

After the song ends her ultimate favourite comes on, 500 Days Of Summer by Grady.

She mouths the lyrics, "This feels like the part of '500 Days Of Summer'

Didn't even notice that my phone died." 

The song goes on, "let's play some Bohnonza!"

"Bohnonza?"

"Come come!" She smiles pulling both of our hands.

Olivia's P.O.V

I hear the door open, "Its Harrison!" I screech, running tripping over the couch.

"Holy. Olivia you alright?" Harrison asks helping to my feet.

"Yup." I smile.

"Wanna play some Bohnonza?" I smile.

Jake's P.O.V

I watch as Harrison helps her up. Jealousy sets in my stomach.
