Chapter Thirty Six

I grab a slice of pizza taking a bite, "Mm! I missed bacon and ham pizza..I can't believe it took that long for them to finally have meat." I tell them sitting in between them taking another bite. I pause looking at there faces as the look at each other, "Oh. You wanted to sit beside each other?" I ask my mouth full looking at the both of them.

"No, no. It's okay."

"Nah it's fine girl." I get up, "Move yo ass over to him." I tell her.

She laughs, "Sorry Olivia." She says moving over. I sit in her spot.

"It's fine the momma needs her cuddles from the...step dad? I don't know how that work."

Tessa laughs and Harrison smiles.

"So, what we watchin tonight?" I smile

"Well it is your pick tonight." Harrison says

"It is?" I ask looking at Harrison

"Yup." Tessa answers.

"Nice." I smile grabbing the remote with my none greasy hand.

I click on the Tv and go to Crave. "Anyone of yeas up for some Good Doctor?" I ask

"Sure what's it about?" Harrison asks

I read the description, "The series follows Shaun Murphy, a young autistic surgeon with savant syndrome from the mid-size city of Casper, Wyoming, where he had a troubled childhood. He relocates to San Jose, California, to work at the prestigious San Jose St. Bonaventure Hospital."

"Sounds like a good show."

"It is! I watched a couple episodes when it came out and was impressed at how good the actor does."

"Isn't he the boy from Charlie and the chocolate factory?" Tessa asks

"Yuppers."

"Always knew he was going to stay cute." She says sitting back crossing her arms with confidence.

"Same."

"What he's like 20 now?"

"28 actually." I correct

"Someone has a crush." She laughs

"I do not. It's just curiosity. Bro he's like eight years older then me. I rather my 3 year older Lifeguard." I tell her crossing my arms

"How sweet."

I look at Harrison, "Do you think it's kinda overwhelming that your girlfriend here is two years older then you?" I ask

"Not really." Harrison says

"Good." I smile, "Now, let's watch." I click play.

A few episodes later I look over to see Tessa snuggled up to Harrison sleeping. Harrison how ever still watches.

Once the episode is over I stifle a yawn.

"If your tired Tess and I can go to bed." Harrison says

"Only if you want t.." a yawn cuts me off.

He chuckles, "You should get some rest."

"I guess your right.." I turn the tv off.

Harrison puts his arm under Tessa's leg and puts her arm around the back of her neck. Picking her up with ease.
