I get to Bondi and see Jake get out of his car squinting from the sun.

He puts his sunglasses on they layer on top of his head.

"Hey Jake." I smile

"Oh hey Tess I thought you would be here earlier then me." He chuckles

"Eh, I decided I got lots of time and walked here." I smile

"It's always good to get a nice walk before work." Jake says giving me a smile in return.

"Well I don't know how you go to the gym every day before work." I tell him knowing his routine.

"Well what can I say, being fit is important."

"You're startin to sound like Reidy."

"Nothing wrong with that." I turn around to see Reidy

"Reidy I didn't mea—"

He laughs, "I know what you meant." He smiles.

"It was supposed to be a complement in a way." I smile

"I know," He chuckles. "You to better get to work." He says before walking to the tower.

"What he said." I tell Jake walking down to the buggie, Jake with me this whole part of the day.

We get in and drive down to South giving the all clear for Harries and Beardy to head to the tower.

Now we patrol South end.

"So you ready for the Physical Test in two weeks?" I ask

"Ugh don't even mention it. It makes me nervous even thinking about it." Jake says

"Well I think your going to smash it." I smile

Jake looks at me and gives me a smile, before putting his eyes back on the water.

"Of course!" I laugh, "You need a guys night out nothin wrong with that."

"Want me to drop you off at our apartment?"

Our....I never thought hearing those words would make me so happy..

"Oh nah it's okay. I was planning on going for a walk or run."

He gives a smile, "We should run together on our day off." Harrison says

"Sounds like a plan." I beam, "Well I don't want to keep ya. Have fun!" I give him a little hug and make my way to my apartment.

I watch the sun as it slowly sets; tranquil and cloudless. The fiery colours gradually protracts leaving a long reflection on the water.
