Chapter Sixty Five

A few beers later I'm struggling to stay on the stool. Giggling hysterically leaning on Chappo putting a hand on his shoulder me having a lot more beers then Chappo. I now laugh with him at a joke he told about Mouse.

I wipe tears away. Breathing out, "Oh my god." I chuckle a bit

He looks at his watch, "Oh shit it's almost one. I have to work in the afternoon."

"Shit is it really?" I ask, "I have I work in the afternoon too."

"Well we better get a cab." I get off the stool and stumble a bit Chappo steadies me.

I giggle, "Just how many beers did you have?" Chappo laughs

I put a finger up for how many but then look at my fingers, "Pfft I don't know." I laugh I stumble again falling in into his arms.

"Woah. Well you had a least five or more."

"How many did you have?" I ask slurring a bit.

"Three."

"How you not drunk like a skunk?" I ask smiling and closing my eyes.

"Because your my body is bigger it can take more."

"Are you saying women can't—"

"No, that's not what I'm saying I'm only telling you science."

"Oh okay." I smile. "I mean you do got it goin on." I poke at his biceps. "So firm."

He laughs, "Now that's enough muscle feeling." He pushes my hand away. "Let's get you home."

"Okay fiiiinneee." I link my arm with his to help me walk without falling.

We wait for an Uber. I turn to him, "I have a nice night thank you." I smile

"Me too. We should do this more often." He nudges me and I almost fall over and catches me, "oh sorry." He laughs

I giggle. He straights me my body close for his my hand on his chest. I look at him and he blushes as bit. I cock my head looking at his expression.

I smile, "Definitely." His eyes chocolate brown eyes lock with my blue green ones. "Thank you for standing up for me with Hayden..." I tell him

"Well I don't want him to hurt you again." He says his eyes expecting my face then lips. He puts a strand of hair behind my ear. I feel the heat between us.

My eyes trail to his lips. He leans in and so do I.

Our lips connect I can feel how badly he's been waiting for this. I don't pull away only run my fingers through his hair.

He deepens the kiss.

I relax at the feeling of his soft lips I rest my arms on his shoulders he pulls me closer.

It was a bliss minute, or maybe it was longer. But it definitely felt longer.

Chappo pulls away. "What am I doing?!" He runs his fingers through his hair.

"Kissing me silly." I giggle trying to get close to him again. He pushes me away breathing heavily from the kiss. "No, no. Your with Harrison. Oh god what have I done?" He drags his hands on his face.

"Don't worry I won't tell." I whisper and then giggle.

"No, no. You have to tell Harrison. I have to tell Harrison."

"No. Chap. No you can't." I tell him seriously this making me sober up a bit.

The Uber honks making me jump. "Let's just act like nothing happened." I tell him

"But it did!" His voice cracks as he runs is hand through his hair.

"Chris. You cannot tell Harrison."

"You gettin in or what?" The Uber driver says.

I nod, "Yeah we are." I tell him, "Just forget it. We're both drunk."

We get in the Uber.

"Where too?"

I tell him and he drives off.

I fall asleep on once the Uber starts moving for a bit. I fall onto Chappos shoulder.

Not even for what felt like a second Chappo shakes me.

"Hm?" I sit up.

"Your here."

"Oh, right." I pay the Uber driver for my distance and then pay for Chappo's

"Tess you didn't have too." Chappo says

"You saved my life remember?" I point.

I give him a smile getting out of the car. I give a wave as the Uber drives off.

I make my way up the stairs falling up them and deciding to use my hands to help me climb the steps.

I knock on the door not even trying with the key, knowing how that'll turn out.

I lean on the door. Harrison opens it making me fall. He catches me with one arm and the other holding the door open.

"Woah. Drank that much hey?"

I giggle nodding completely forgetting about the kiss.

Harrison smiles and pecks me on the lips. "Well I'm glad you had a fun time." He chuckles

I nod my head on his chest. With my arms around him.

He chuckles his chest vibrating, "Want to cuddle?" He asks knowing my mind so well. I nod again, "Mhm."

He sweeps me off my feet and I squeal giggling.

He softly puts me on the bed and lays next to me. I cuddle against him. He gives me a kiss on the top of the head.

"Love you." He whispers

I smile, "Love you too baby."
