Chapter Thirty Three

After ten minutes Jesse being early, more people start to come in.

Jake starts up the BBQ leaving me on my own with a lot of lifeguards I don't know. Tessa hasn't showed up yet. My phone dings. I look at it and it's text from Tessa saying that Harrison and her would be a little late saying they wanted to bring something.

I sigh. Looking around, great now I won't have anyone to talk to that I know not even Harrison. I look over to Jake who's busy talking to somebody with brown hair and blue eyes they laugh at something one of them said while Jake grills.

I take a deep breath feeling a bit uneasy with all the people around me who I don't know.

"You alright love?" I jump a little turning around.

He furrows his eyebrows, "Y-Yeah. Just don't know anyone is all." I tell him.

He smiles his pearly whites showing, "Well I'm Anthony. But you can call me Harries if ya like." He says sticking out his hand.

I shake it, "Olivia." I smile

"So I heard your here from London your Tessa's friend right?"

"Yeah."

"Well let me introduce you to a couple of my Mates." He smiles his smile makes me feel a bit more comfortable.

"Alright."

We walk over to a tall man with black curly hair and brown eyes. "Dean I would like for you to meet Olivia Tessa's friend. Olivia. Dean."

"Hi." I smile.

He sticks out his hand and I shake it, "I heard a lot of good things about you from Jake and Tess. Glad to see Jake with somebody as good of a person as he is." He says

I smile but a ping of hurt hits my heart knowing that in a week and a half I'll have to leave him.

"Is this the famous Olivia I've been hearing so much about?" Another comes over his hair blond with a hint of orange in it, his eyes hazelnut colour.

"I'm Ryan nice to finally meet you in person."

"Nice to meet you too." I shake his hand that he offered. Am I really that popular?

"Well it seems you are." Ryan says I look up not knowing I said that out loud. They all chuckle.

I chuckle a bit feeling quite warm. "Excuse me, I'm just going to get some air. Nice to meet you all." I smile not trying to be rude.

I walk outside where Jake is grilling, still talking to his friend.

"Hey Olivia. I would like you to meet one of my closest mates, Adriel."

"Nice to meet Jake is very fond of you." He says smiling.

"Hi." I'm lost for words to shy to say anything else. I'm not used to these many guys and no girls.

"Your as pretty as Jake said you were." He comments

I blush, "Thanks"

"Oh if you have any trouble remember for my name you can call me Bacon, that's what the boys call me."

"Bacon huh?"

"Yup, it's my middle name." He smiles, "So I heard your leaving in two weeks?" He asks

"A little less then that now but yeah...I'm not ready to leave yet."

"Well your just going to have to visit more often." Bacon says

"I guess so." I smile

"You thinking of coming here on Christmas?"

"Yeah totally, it's beautiful here much rather it then the freezing cold weather in the UK."

"I bet."

"So what about you? Did you grow up in Sydney?"

"I was born here but I mainly grew up in Moss Vale in the Southern Highlands."

"Oh cool. You planing on being a lifeguard as long as you can?"

"Yeah I love it and everything it has to offer the crazy Rescue and everything."

"Yeah, once he had to swim 200 meters to rescue a man." Jake says.

"Not to mention in the freezing water."

"Yikes."

I feel someone tap on my shoulder, I turn around to see Tessa. "Tessa your here." I smile relieved that I have my best friend finally here. "What took you so long?" I ask

"There was this Bloke that had a cart full of the desserts taking all of them and we had to get him to give us one but he wouldn't."

"So we decided to just get it at another store." Harrison finishes

"Yeah, he was to greedy and wouldn't give us one box."

"Wow. Some people." Jake says from behind Olivia.

"Right. Can't believe what a bloody imbecile he was." She says frustrated, "I hate fuck whits like that." She says under her breath, looks like Harrison's words are rubbing off on her. I snicker.

"Burgers anyone?" Jake asks the boys in blue line up.

"Hope it's homemade like last time yeh Jakey." Ryan says

All the boys agree.

"So your famous for making the best burgers?" I ask him.

"Oh yeah he is. He makes the best ever." Tessa says like one of the boys nudging him with her arm. They seem close.
