Chapter Thirty Eight

Happy back to school peeps! Hope you are doing well and truck through this year! You guys are going to be great!

"Well..." I clear my throat. "I'm going to move to Australia."

He basically chokes on his baby carrot. "What!?" He asks his eyes wide

"You heard me. I'm moving in with you!" I smile

"That's awesome!" He gives me a hug. "Can't believe this. Pinch me." I laugh and give him a soft pinch, "Well this is definitely happening." I giggle. "When are you officially moving?"

"Well. I have to fill out some forms and stuff when I go back home. It's a long process but I should be able to move before Christmas which is a few of weeks from where I leave."

"So almost a month?" Jake asks

"Yeah. Don't tell Tessa okay? I want to surprise her when I come." I smile

"Alright lips sealed." He says zipping and locking his mouth.

I giggle and give him a kiss. "So, does this make me your girlfriend?" I ask

"Well of course!" He returns the kiss.

I giggle my cheeks warming at his touch.

"How about we get some really food?" I tell him looking at his small container of baby carrots.

"Sounds like a plan."

"I'm paying." I say quickly before he says it.

He only chuckles shaking his head getting up.

I give him a happy smile and take his hand. "The Café has some great food."

We start eating our food.

"So any party's planned, or any party planned to go today?" I ask

"Nope. I was planning something more exciting."

"Ou and what's that?"

"Well. How do you feel about learning how to Surf?" He asks

"Oh I don't know Jake."

"Come on. You'll love it. Here I'll make you a deal, how about you just stay on my board and I'll catch some waves."

I ponder for a minute. "Hm. Sounds....fun! Let's do it."

"I knew you would want too." He smiles, "Your going to love it. Maybe so much so that your going to want to learn how to surf."

"Is that so?" I grin

I look at the waves of the beach hands on my waistline.

I watch as the not so terrifying waves loom then crash.

"One of my mate lend me one of his longer boards." Jake says from behind me I could hear the excitement in his voice. "You still up for this?" He asks

I turn snapping my gaze from the waves, "Yeah of course." I smile.

"Okay let's get surfin." He takes my hand and leads me to the water.

We get into the water.

"Now. Lay on the board like you would when being Rescued." Jake says, "On your belly facing the front."
