Chapter 104

Tessa's P.O.V

My eyes open slowly I can hear the tv. I groan from the pain in my nose and the back of my head.

I look around and I'm in my room.

I walk out of the room to see Harrison sitting on the couch passed out his lip a little swollen with a cut on it. His eyebrow is also cut with one Steri-Strip on it his lips also has one on it. I'm surprise he doesn't have a black eye.

His face is a little swollen as well. I noticed the ice bag in his hand not completely melted.

I take it from his hand and go to the freezer to get a new one. I get a T-Shirt and wrap it around it a couple times so it's not too cold.

I sit beside him gingerly not wanting to wake him.

I put the cloth covered ice pack to his face.

He moans wincing a bit. "Shh it's okay." I tell him rubbing his other cheek with my thumb. A tear rolls down my face guilty that this had happened to him, guilty that I kissed Jake back....I don't know what I was thinking...

Jake and I dated for a year and a half before I broke it off with him, wanting to focus on my work and training. Being in love with one of the boys meant distraction, but then I met Hayden and he was perfect. We were together for a year before he started drinking. Things started to change when I met Harrison we just had an instant click.

I bet Harrison is just as upset at me as I am for myself. I sniffle a bit, "I failed you Harrison..." I whisper, "How could I do that?" I ask myself gritting my teeth. I hit my fist on my leg angrily. "I'm so stupid!" I whisper hitting my leg again as tears fall down my face.

"Don't hurt yourself." Harrison says groggily his voice raspy,"And you didn't fail me."

I look at him for a bit wondering if he heard everything before then, "But I did. I kissed Jake back..." another tear rolls down my face. He hold the ice pack to his face now.

"I am pretty pissed about that but half of that was because your pregnant. I've seen the way you get." He tells me slowly sitting up."But if you weren't then that's a whole different story because then you would've actually meant it."

"But it still doesn't make it right." I sigh, "I'm so stupid."

"No your not." He grabs me and holds me.

"Do you know my past relationship with Jake?" I ask

"Ive heard bit of the story here and there. I can see why he is angry."

"He's like a best friend to me now, but I don't want him to think we can get back together..." I tail off a bit.

"Everything will be okay," he squeezes my shoulder for reassurance.

"Do you hate Jake?"

"Yes."

"Even if he was drunk?"

"Yes."

"Will you forgive him?"

"Yes. Wait what?"

I giggle patting his chest, "I knew you would." I smile, "you can't hate him forever."

"Hey now that's no fair." Harrison says

I giggle as he lightly pushes me.

Unfortunately Jake and Harrison have been given a 2 day suspension by Hoppo not letting them come back to their dream jobs.

Since Jake and Harrison are band from Bondi I had to work a this morning on my day off, but at least now Harrison can go cake shopping with me. We couldn't do it last week because we both had full shifts.
