Chapter Sixteen

It takes a bit before we get to our destination.

I look at the restaurant name, "The Farmhouse Restaurant. Ouuu sounds delish."

We are given a table and we both sit down.

"Wow this place is nice. Never been here before."

"You haven't? Oh thank goodness I found something you haven't ate at before." He says smiling.

"Yeah I didn't really dine out much after my dad got sick that was our thing he was so excited when we moved here cause I had no experience of Australia what so ever." I laugh

"Sounds like good times."

"Yeah they were. Any whoz, let's look at the menu shall we?" I smile picking it up and look at it. "Wow there's a lot of options." I look at all of them, "Ouuu the Pulled Pork Sandwhich sound goooood. Bro what! You can have a side of Mac'N'cheese! Man I have been obviously living under a rock, I wish I found out about this place a looong time ago."

Harrison chuckles at my excitement.

I look at the drinks, "Oh I love a good iced tea. Wait what's this...pink vodka lemonade cocktail. Ou that sounds amazing."

"Get it."

"Okay but I'm paying for it."

"No it's okay I'll pay for it. I'm the one taking you out for dinner." Harrison tells me

I squint my eyes, "Fine but if I get another I'm paying you back."

Harrison rolls his eyes playfully, "Alright then."

"So what are you getting?" I ask

"I'm going to get a Bacon cheddar burger with fries on the side."

"Ou nice and what are you going to get for a drink?"

"Just water is good. I gotta be a little healthy." He jokes

I giggle, "Got a point there I should probably do that.....next time." I smile Harrison returns the smile.

We talked as we waited for our food to come and when it did we didn't stop talking, but we ate in between of course.

I did end up getting another one of the Lemonade alcoholic drinks after I ate, but I only had two I swear.

I after the second one I started feeling a bit tipsy that I accidentally knocked over Harrison's water making it spill all over him.

"Oh my god I'm so sorry." I giggle

"I'll be right back. DON'T pay for the dinner."

"Okaaay."

As soon as he leaves I smirk, "Oh I'm definitely paying for this dinner. Waiter! Check please!" I shout and he quickly comes over.

And I pay for the dinner. "Thank you. Here's your receipt." He gives me it as well as two mints.

I give him a smile and he walks away. I pop the candy in my mouth and suck on it.
