Chapter Fifty Nine

Reidy lays me on the medial bed and puts an Oxy mask on.

I groan feeling worse then before. My hands shake as I hold my stomach feeling my chest tighten even more then before.

"Paramedics are coming to take a look at you." Reidy tells me I nod

Soon we hear a knock on the door and two paramedics come in.

Reidy talks to them to what happened.

The male paramedic comes over to me, "You have Tightness in your chest and the pain hasn't gone away from when you got stung an hour ago?"

"No it's only gotten worse."

"Are you having trouble breathing?" He asks.

I nod, "A little." I scratch my neck

"Do you feel itchy?" He asks noticing me itching my neck.

"Yeah and a bit hot."

"Okay. These are signs of an allergic reaction. We're going to check your blood pressure." I nod itching my neck. "Try not to itch."

"Okay...."I've never been allergic to Blue bottles before.." I tell him as I feel the pressure cuff tighten.

"Well you would be suprised to how many people we've treated that didn't used to be allergic to something."

I the pressure releases.

"Okay your blood pressure is lower then usual we gonna give you a shot of adrenaline to help stop the swelling in your throat."

"Okay." I feel a pinch in my arm.

"How you feeling?" He asks me after a few minutes.

"Good." I smile

"I'm just going to listen to your breathing." He tells me putting the Spirometer and puts it on my back. "Breathe in." I breathe in, "and out."

"Sounds like your breathing is good."

The checks a my bloody pressure again.

"I never had a patient who recovered that quickly." He tells me.

"So am I good to stay here?"

"I guess you are. But if you feel sick or have trouble breathing again I'm just going to be outside like I usually am."

I smile, "Okay. Thanks."

He gives a smile and heads out the door.

"You sure your alright?" Reidy asks.

"Yeah. Maybe I should stay inside until the blue bottles are gone."

"Or you should just stay inside for the rest of the day." He chuckles

At lunch I text Olivia,

Hey gurl how ya feelin?

A few seconds later she texts back.

Pregnant.

Oh yeah.

Hey I was wondering if you and Jake would like to go out to dinner tonight?

You mean like a double date?! YOU KNOW HOW LONG I WAITED FOR YOU TO ASK ME THIS! I can basically hear the squeak in her voice.
