Gaku's POV

The audience cheered louder and louder with each passing second. Our songs each carried an energy that increased the fans' roaring support. Despite the easy smile appearing on our faces, my heart was in shreds. It was dipped in a poison so potent I'd wager I'd die if not for my willpower.

"Alright everyone, we have some serious news and we'd love for you all to listen!" Tenn exclaimed.
"Of course, Tenn-kun!"
"We love you, Ryuu-san!"
"We'll do anything, Gaku-san!"

Both Tenn and Ryuu glanced my way, as if asking for the finality of our decision. Was it right to do this? Was it right to decide my sister's fate like this? Tch, (Y/n) was strong. She wouldn't give in to this.

A curt nod was all they needed. The noise seemed to die down as time slipped through their fingers. Flurried whispers ran around the arena, curious questions rising in the midst of it all.

"I...have a younger sister named (Y/n)."

The silence that followed was almost too overbearing.

"Her identity was hidden for obvious reasons, such as her safety," said Tenn.
"She's our assistant manager," Ryuu added.
"...I love her. I'll do anything to get her back."
"She's been kidnapped. The police are on her kidnapper's side," Tenn exclaimed.
"We need your help. (Y/n)'s always been living in people's shadows. Please help us save her," Ryuu pleaded.

I immediately bowed deeply, desperately pleading for their assistance. Tenn and Ryuu followed suit, as the audience gasped and allowed soft whispers to caress the arena.

There would be people who'd hate on my sister. They'd blame her for using us...but I believed that we had true fans that'd accept her. We all believed in our fans. We wouldn't be here without them.

"Ne, the police are corrupted! Making Trigger suffer like that."
"I agree! (Y/n)-san doesn't deserve that kind of treatment!"
"If Trigger's sad, then I am too! We're gonna help them. They helped us a lot after all."

I looked up, eyes widening as everyone began agreeing with their verdicts. Tenn offered his signature smile of warmth while Ryuu gratefully thanked our fans. Hot tears burnt my skin as they travelled down my cheeks.

"Aww, Gaku's crying!" someone cooed.
"I am not, damn it!"
"Now let's go! If you guys don't want to see Gaku crying anymore, help us," Tenn said, aiming to get a slight jab at me.
"...thank you everyone."

Riku's POV

The nerves in my body wouldn't stop triggering my trembling. This sudden collaboration with Re:vale had gotten attention all around the nation, and it would be a lie to say I was completely fine.

Iori wasn't here, and (Y/n)'s life was in our hands. My heart beat with ferocious nervousness, my brain a whirlwind of thoughts too quick to process. I needed to calm down.

"We'll do fine, Rikkun," Tamaki reassured.
"Yeah, I know. I'm just nervous..."
"We all are," replied Sogo.
"After this, I'm gonna give (Y/n)-chan big cuddles because she'll be scarred for life," said Tamaki.
"I think that's going a bit too far," Yamato commented.
"Oh no, Iori'll get jealous!" Nagi exclaimed.
"Are you guys ready for this?" asked Momo as he walked over.
"Of course they are. Now let's go on," Yuki answered.

I followed the two senior idols to the stage under the instruction of the directing staff. Tsumugi gestured to us, holding up a large card with words written in soft, flowing text: Trigger succeeded! I know you guys can too!

If we didn't have any morale before, we had it now. The cameramen gestured that we'd go on in three, two, one. Momo immediately donned a cheerful yet charming smile to start the show.

"Yo everyone! We're so happy that you could join us today!" he greeted.
"This is a super rare occasion so please pay close attention," Mitsuki added.
"Whoa, look at all these comments. Thanks everyone!"
"It's due to my popularity after all," Momo joked.
"Heh...that's mean," replied Tamaki.
"*laughs* Alright everyone, please enjoy!"

The camera cut, changing to a different stage. Yamato and Sogo were already in position, their faces mirroring perfect renderings of angst and disagreement. Yamato opened his mouth, his first words cutting through air like a blade cutting through flesh.

"This is all a mess. Why couldn't you just look after her?" he asked quietly, his voice a mixture of pain and anger.
"I told you already. They drugged me," Sogo explained desperately.
"You had one job! One! How can you call yourself a member of our gang if you can't even protect Tasumi-sama's loved one?!"
"Listen, I was outnumbered! Where were you when this happened?! Off drinking with your pals, I bet!"

Their acting was inspiring, almost as if they were the characters themselves. I was frozen to the spot. My eyes wouldn't- couldn't leave their figures. Acting in that drama proved to be a vital part of our story.

I was quickly ushered into position as their scene came to an end. Momo offered a small, encouraging smile before our expressions were sculptured into that needed for our respective roles.

"Hey Kai (Riku), was it our fault that she's...gone?" asked Momo.
"I...no, it can't be. She can't be dead. It's just not possible!"
"Face reality, Kai. Your sister's gone and her boyfriend, Tasumi, is furious," said Nagi.
"No...this is all their fault! Those 'Crowned Demon' bastards..."
"...ne, getting back at that other gang won't bring her back..." Momo whispered.
"You're just a weakling, Hanamaru. This is war," replied Nagi.

I threw the cup at the ground, shattering its fragile structure into a million glass pieces. How ironic...without (Y/n) here, our harmony was missing a piece of its puzzle. We needed her to come back to glue everything back together.

"He's right, Hanamaru. This isn't the time to show such weak-minded thinking. They stole something from me. Now it's time to steal their world."
"Kai...this is wrong..."
"They started this. We need to finish it."
