(Y/n)'s POV
Gaku-nii's fingers intertwined with mine as he stuffed our hands in his coat pocket. The night air was chilly but I didn't mind the cold wind blowing against my body. All I needed was the warmth of my family.
Yamato walked on my left, offering a small grin once I glanced at him. IDOLiSH7's dorms came into view, the soft lights illuminating the surrounding environment.
We headed up the stairs before going inside, where a loud explosion of noise greeted us with heartwarming sincerity. Ryuu waved Gaku-nii over as Yamato silently moved to the fridge to grab a can of beer.
A refreshingly cold beverage was passed into my hands as Iori leaned in for a kiss. I felt myself giving in to his gentle embrace, quietly pulling away only when his brother's teasing voice reached my ears.
"Getting bold now, are we?" Mitsuki teased whilst wriggling his eyebrows.
I lifted the glass to my lips, a soft bubbly liquid sliding down my throat. Alcohol? I caught Iori's wink, the corners of his mouth turned upwards in a grin. A smile formed on my face.
"What are we having for dinner?" asked Gaku-nii.
"You'll see when we've finished making it," replied Ryuu.
"Yeah, stop being so impatient," Tenn teased with a smirk.
"Huh?! What was that?!"
"Gaku," Tsumugi called. My brother immediately went red in the face as he looked away from her curious gaze. Tenn immediately started laughing and urged the taller male towards Tsumugi, who blushed a light red.
"Come on, there's a balcony for your confessions of love," Riku exclaimed happily.
"Oh, how exciting!" commented Nagi.
"W-who said anything about love? Geez, you're all going nuts," Gaku-nii muttered.
"Wait, what's this? Tsumugi's ex just texted me! He said he still wants her and is coming here right now."
"What?!"Gaku-nii immediately strode to my side, snatching the phone from my hands. At first, it was a snicker before my body gave up holding in the laughter. He shot me a dangerous glare and threw the phone away.
Tamaki caught it in his hand before handing it back to me. Yamato suddenly threw an arm around my shoulders, the smell of alcohol permeating the air around him. A sigh escaped my lips.
"Hey (Y/n), what do you think? Can I make him jealous?" Yamato asked in a low voice.
"I think you've been drinking too much."
"Nah, here. Have one."He pushed a bottle of champagne into my hands, as I wondered how they had gotten so many alcoholic beverages. My gaze caught Ryuu's, who simply coughed and hurriedly averted his eyes to feign interest in the flower pot.
"(Y/n), what do you say we go out now? Just the two of us?" Yamato questioned, pointedly eyeing Iori.
"Nikaido-san, you've had a bit too much. Maybe you should go sit down in the corner," Iori suggested whilst prying his arm off my shoulders.
"Huh?! In the corner?! What am I, a kid?"
"Seeing as how you're trying something as petty as making me jealous, I'd say you are."
"Tch, smartass."I let out a laugh as Yamato stalked to the couch and plopped himself in between Sogo and Tamaki. Iori's hand suddenly gripped my hand, his hold tightening almost to the point of hurting.
"Looks like he did make you jealous after all."
"A-as if," he replied before walking away.Mitsuki suddenly gestured for everyone to gather around the table, where Ryuu was setting up the delicious dishes that filled the room with an enticing aroma. I immediately dived towards the seat nearest to (f/f) just as Riku reached the chair.
"I got here first!" we both exclaimed.
"Why do you want this seat?"
"Because it's next to Tenn-nii..."
"Well, I want to eat my favourite food."I took Tenn's hand and pulled him to a chair with a space beside it. The others laughed as a soft sigh left Tenn's lips. Riku happily took the other empty seat, eagerly patting the chair for his brother.
Iori and Gaku-nii hurriedly took the seats beside me before I laughed at their childish behaviour. It was then that I realised Gaku-nii was subtly holding Tsumugi's hand. His menacing gaze warned me not to mention anything but he'd need much more than a scary look to prevent me.
"So big brother, finally decided to get yourself a girlfriend?"
"Oi, do you have a death wish?" he asked in irritation.
"Try me."
"Gaku, don't fight with your sister," Tsumugi scolded.
"*laughs* Ha! I never thought I'd see the day Gaku'll be scolded by his girlfriend," said Tenn.
"Guys, we're not here to tease them about love..." Sogo exclaimed.
"That's right. We're here for (Y/n)'s celebration," Nagi added.
"Yep, her celebratory bonding with Iori," Mitsuki teased.
"Niisan! Stop making up absurd lies!"Geez, these guys were an impossible bunch, but I'd never replace them for anything. They helped through my times of hardships. I wanted to do the same for them, even if it was a trivial matter.
My phone's ringtone rang over the loud chatter permeating the room, indirectly causing a blanket of silence to cover the noise. I pulled it out and put it on speaker to let everyone hear the director's voice.
"(Y/n), sorry to call you out of the blue like this," he said.
"No, I don't mind. Wait, you can speak Japanese?"
"Your mother taught me a few things."
"I see. Anyway, what's wrong?"
"We're scheduled to start filming in a few days, right?"
"Yeah?"
"One of the actors can't make it. His uncle's in a serious stage of cancer. I was wondering if you'd know anyone who can come in on such short notice."I looked around the room. Everyone immediately avoided my expectant gaze, irking me before I even realised it. That was when Riku and Tamaki donned menacing smirks and pointed towards Yamato, who quickly created a cross with his arms, vigorously shaking his head.
"Yes director, I think I know who might be best for the job."
