The man took a look at each of the members of the group, but then his eyes widened as they locked onto Ara' Sei.
"Come in, I'll show you to my room." His voice was confident and smooth even as he appeared shocked. He led them through a few hallways and then into a small room with a shelf that held three books and a small simple bed. The room was barely large enough for all five people to fit in it.
"So, I knew that you were coming." The man began as he pointed at Ara' Sei.
"But you don't know who I am, and you didn't know I would find you now. I have the same questions." Ara' Sei said back.
"Okay, alright then, I should introduce myself. My name is Zerai, I live here. Now, who are you?" He asked.
"Well, I'm Ara' Sei. I have been guided by higher powers to this place. These three are my friends. I was told to help you." Ara' Sei explained. Zerai nodded.
"You can help me?" Zerai asked.
"Yes, yes we can help you." Ara' Sei answered.
"Alright, well. Are the three with you capable as well?" Zerai asked.
"Yes, I trust them. All of them are combatively capable." Ara' Sei answered.
"Alright, I know I can trust you from the guidance that higher powers gave me. So, I assume you don't know exactly what I need." Zerai said. Ara' Sei nodded.
"Well, there's a certain... organization in Duskholme. It's one that any morally sane person would want to bring down." Zerai explained.
"Go on." Ara' Sei said.
"There's a powerful slaver's guild that exists in this city. They're one of the world's greatest powers when it comes to slave trade. On my own, I couldn't hope to do anything. But with five capable people, I think we could pull it off." Zerai explained.
"We will gladly help you Zerai." Ara' Sei said. The other three nodded in agreement.
"Very well, but, I'm going to warn you. All of you will be labelled as criminals, and we will probably be hunted if we go after such a large power in the world. This institution has stayed in power so long because of its close connection to the law. We can't get any authorities involved. We'll have to do it ourselves." Zerai explained.
"Well, as long as I get to steal all of their money, I'm fine!" Ella said.
"I have no problems with going against the law." Eris added.
"I will fight against such an atrocity." Cedric declared.
"Alright. Well. I know a few things about the slaver's guild. I know key things that will make their lives far more difficult if we're able to pull them off." Zerai said.
"Well, tell us then. It is my obligation and my pleasure to help you take these people down. But we will need your info." Ara' Sei replied.
"Very well, but I haven't' gotten your names yet."
"I'm Ella!"
"Eris."
"Cedric."
"Alright. Ara' Sei. Ella. Cedric. Eris. I look forward to working with you all."
