Cedric transformed into an eagle and picked up Ella and Zerai from the water before putting them back on the ship.
"Brie, how did you know that would work?" Ara' Sei asked.
"When you focus your studies on divination magic, you begin seeing little pieces of the future. In your dreams, they're completely out of context, so you don't know what's going to happen. But when the time comes, all the pieces fall into place, and you see a future lain out before you. It's a bit difficult to describe, but if I randomly start giving you directions, that's why." Brie explained.
"Hmmm, has this ever been useful for you before?" Cedric asked.
"A few times, mostly when I was acquiring things for Naiyra." Brie replied.
"That's amazing! If you need us to do something according to your dreams or whatever, just tell us!" Ella said.
"I will." Brie said.
The rest of the day was uneventful. The group quickly got back into the rhythm of sailing, and the cloud of dust left in the water vanished far behind them.
That night, Brie was writing in her spellbook wildly, but soon everyone was able to find ample rest.
The next day, Cedric was up early, manipulating the wind just around the ship. Then, everyone else came up to the deck of the ship. Brie was the last one to awake.
"I feel really sore, but in a good, strong way." Brie said.
"Oh yeah, we've felt that feeling many times." Ella said.
"Really?" Brie asked.
"It's usually after super tough fights, it hasn't happened since the dragon though." Ella said.
"Where did you find the dragon, it was a green one, right?" Brie asked.
"It was a green one. We found it in the Northern Woods." Eris said.
"I'm thinking. We know about the locations of a few dragons in the world. We know a black dragon lives in the Theirin River delta, a red one lives near Mount Cressel, a blue one lives in the Central Mountains right on the edge of the desert, and a white one lives in northern Northos. But, that's about all we know. With that dragon turtle, I'm wondering if any could be living somewhere in the Boiling Ocean somewhere." Brie said.
"What kind of dragon could live here?" Cedric asked.
"There are several kinds of dragons that are resistant to the effects of heat. I'm wondering if they live somewhere." Brie said.
"Let's hope not." Cedric said.
The rest of the day passed normally, without any other complications. The morning after marked the beginning of the twelfth day of travel into the Boiling Ocean. The day passed by as normal. Cedric used localized wind at the start of the day, and then switched to controlling the weather after a few hours.
"How are we going to find death's mouth?" Eris asked.
"Well, I've created a clear view around us with the help of the wind. I suppose Ara' Sei or Zerai could fly above the boat to get a bird's eye view of everything." Cedric said.
"I have a spell that may be of use as well." Brie added.
"What would that be?" Eris asked.
"Come to think of it, I have two. One is like an eye that I can place a mile away, above me would probably work to get a bird's eye view. I've got another that also generates an eye, but I can move it as far away as I want." Brie explained.
"Let's try that." Eris said.
For the first time, the group began more actively looking for what the tablet referred to as 'death's mouth'.
