Cedric continued focusing his magic on the man, burning him even further. Then, a flame ignited in his hand, and he hurled at it the warrior who was heavily injured. The warrior's body went up in flames, and he screamed as he was burned to death.

Zerai engaged onto his assailant, his first strike cutting deep into the man he faced. However, the man parried the second.

One of the warriors rushed past Cedric and leapt to reach Ella. He stabbed his blade into Ella's back, and she screamed through a clenched jaw.

One of the archers fired an arrow at Ara' Sei, while another fired an arrow at the immobilized Ella. The arrow plunged into Ara' Sei's chest, and she fell to the ground. She was still breathing, but blood was rapidly pouring out onto the metal floor. Ella was helpless as an arrow punctured her.

Ella was unable to do anything, but then, she found a weak point. She broke through it, and she felt control of herself again.

"Ha! Can't hold me down!" Ella shouted with glee. Eris attempted to plunge their dagger into the man's neck, but he caught their hand, and shoved them back. The man in armor then brought their weapon up, a flail which radiated ethereal shadow. He brought the first strike down upon Eris, but they dodged just in time. The man then used the momentum to circle the flail back again, and brought the second strike down on Eris once again. The darkness slammed into Eris, and they were flung a few feet back before falling on the floor, unconscious.

Cedric watched in horror as Eris fell to the ground. He looked at Eris, then at Ara' Sei.

"She can help them." Cedric whispered to himself. Cedric placed his hands upon Ara' Sei and muttered a few words under his breath, his hands glowed with emerald light, and several arrows fell out as some of Ara' Sei's wounds healed. Meanwhile, Cedric still held his grip upon the spell he cast on the armor that the slavers' leader wore.

Zerai looked at the man he was facing and took a few steps back. Then, Zerai charged forward. He used the momentum to bring the blade through the warriors neck before charging upon the leader of the slavers. He held his blade up close to him before brining it down upon the leader of the slavers. But, the leader easily parried Zerai's attack.

The archers, all of which still stood, released their arrows. Two flew towards Ella, while two flew towards Zerai. The first arrow at Zerai skimmed his shoulder. The second embedded itself in his back painfully. Then, Zerai didn't see the blade from behind that slashed him, sending him to the ground next to Eris.

Ella was able to catch both arrows midair with her greatsword.

"Not so fast, cowards!" Ella shouted with rage. In one great slash of her greatsword, she cut the last warrior standing. Then, she charged at the nearest archer and brought her sword down upon them, critically injuring them.

Ara' Sei reached her hand out, and let the light of her power flow through her. The light flowed from her and into Eris. Eris' eyes fluttered open as their wounds began to close. Seeing this, the slavers' leader swung his morningstar down upon them. Eris was instantly struck right back down. Then, the leader of the slavers charged towards Cedric, who was his greatest threat. He brought the spiked ball of his flail down upon Cedric. The wound was instantly festered with ethereal shadows, and as Cedric cried out, he lost focus on the spell that lay upon the slaver's armor.

Cedric gritted his teeth, he brought his arms apart, and muttered a prayer to the forces of nature. His hands glowed with emerald light as his voice echoed like thunder. As Cedric brought his hands together, an emerald flash of materialized thunder exploded out from him. The sound shook the metal of the prison around the battle. The man's body was flung backwards and he clattered onto the floor. His flail was sent flying by the force. Cedric smiled, he had slain this powerful foe, but he wasn't done yet.
