The next day, Cedric was up several hours before sunrise. He had planted his hands on the ground, and had his eyes closed.

As the sun rose, everyone else gradually began to wake up. Lyra travelled down the street to get a few ingredients for pancakes.

Lyra made pancakes, and the whole group aside from Cedric had an early breakfast. Nathan went outside to work on the fields. The group began packing up their things, and Cedric continued his ritual outside.

"Well, I guess it's time for me to leave." Ara' Sei said. Lyra hugged Ara' Sei.

"I love you, dear. Stay safe out there, and tell me all about it when you come back." Lyra said.

"Don't worry, mother, I will." Ara' Sei said. Then, she went outside and found her father in the fields.

"Hello father, I think me and my friends will be leaving now." Ara' Sei said.

"Oh, take care, Ara' Sei." Nathan said before walking up to Ara' Sei, picking her up in a hug, and spinning her around. Then, Ara' Sei began to walk away.

"I'll try to visit soon!" Ara' Sei said, waving at her father. Nathan waved back before going back to his farm work.

Within a few minutes, Cedric finished his ritual.

"What were you doing?" Eris asked.

"Using my magic to make sure these crops grow nicely." Cedric replied.

Then, the group left the tiny hamlet and continued South in the direction of Point Sathus. For the rest of the day, they continued passing fields upon fields of crops.

The next day, the farms themselves began becoming better constructed. Hamlets were becoming more common, and they were visibly better built than the hamlet Ara' Sei's parents lived in. However, they still weren't at Point Sathus.

Finally, as the day afterwards came to a close, they saw it in the distance. The stone walls surrounding the city were over thirty feet high, and made of solid stone. They were lined with massive battlements. Beyond was a massive city, brimming with towers, buildings, cathedrals, and other architectural wonders.

A line of wagons and carriages led to the front gates of the city. However, as night fell, the gates closed, leaving the group outside the city.

"What should we look for first once we get in?" Cedric asked.

"We should look for accommodations first and foremost. Then, we should find out if there is an arcane institution, and where we can find one. From my knowledge, this is a bustling port city, so there'll be plenty of things for sale here." Ara' Sei explained.

"So, we find an inn, find an arcane institution, and then do what we want?" Ella asked.

       "Basically." Ara' Sei said.

The next day, the gates were opened back up, and after waiting an agonizing four hours, the group finally made it to the front gates.

"What's your business here?" A guard asked.

"We're here to find an arcane institution or someone with arcane prowess." Ara' Sei explained.

       "Why?" The guard asked.

"We acquired some magical items, but we don't yet know what they do. We figure an arcanist would know what to do with them." Ara' Sei explained.

"Alright, anything else?" The guard asked.

"We have money and we're willing to stay awhile somewhere." Ara' Sei said.

"You're in. Make sure to stowe away any weapons as best you can." The guard said, mostly glancing to Ella. In response, Ella put on her cloak, which hid the blade of her sword, but the hilt still poked out of the top.

Then, the group entered Point Sathus, which was quite possibly the largest city in the entire world.
