This is the second of three Halloween specials. This is a recommendation from @superSkepHalo and they said "You should do something like this but it's Halloween and Dream is sick, but insists to go trick or treating in the rain when George goes out to get a pizza. He gets lost and he's sitting in like a park, shivering and cold, and then George finds him and they go home. George looks after Dream," Thank you so much for the request. My goal is to get it done today. This might be kind of short because I'm lazy lol.
Trick or treat is today's lesson. Trick-or-treating is a traditional Halloween custom for children and adults in some countries. In the evening before All Saints' Day, children in costumes travel from house to house, asking for treats with the phrase "Trick or treat". The "treat" is usually some form of candy, although in some cultures money is given instead. The "trick" refers to a threat, usually idle, to perform mischief on the homeowner or their property if no treat is given.
The earliest known use in print of the term "trick or treat" appears in 1927, from Blackie, Alberta: Hallowe'en provided an opportunity for real strenuous fun. No real damage was done except to the temper of some who had to hunt for wagon wheels, gates, wagons, barrels, etc., much of which decorated the front street. According to Today, I Found Out, the's keywords dates back to Nov. 4, 1927. The phrase appeared in a Canadian newspaper discussing the town's Halloween evening, where they described the holiday festivities as follows: "The youthful tormentors were at the back door and front demanding edible plunder by the word 'trick or treat,' to which the inmates gladly responded and sent the robbers away rejoicing." But while that image is strangely delightful, it still doesn't establish where the phrase comes from. According to Smithsonian magazine, however, — specifically to a Celtic tradition in which people would celebrate the end of the year by dressing up as evil spirits. The logic was that if, as we moved into the next year, the dead and living overlapped briefly, which means the living would have to protect themselves from the dead and demons somehow. yourself was seen as the best protection against being taken into the underworld. And actually, it makes a certain amount of sense; there's nothing like a good disguise to trick your enemies, right? Jumping forward into the Middle Ages, people continued this tradition but added in the food exchange element. Children and adults alike would sing or offer rhymes or phrases at the doors of their neighbors in exchange for food and treats while in costume. The idea here was that these. A little creepy, but fascinating all the same. Then there is a pretty significant leap in time until trick or treating became part of the mainstream again. It wasn't until the 1920s and '30s when people (mostly children) began trick or treating as a cultural tradition. (Makes sense, given what we already know about when the first instance of the phrase appeared in print, right? Right on schedule, 1927.) According to Smithsonian, there was a slight lull in trick or treating during World War II because of sugar shortages, but otherwise, the tradition has been a staple of the holiday ever since. The "trick or treat" phrase itself seems to be a combination of various cultural references that have joined together over time — tricks refer to demons walking among the living, as well as the nature of being in a disguise yourself. Treats refer to handing out food and candy, of course. Whether or not you're going to trick or treat this year, the history of a holiday is always a good go-to small talk, especially when it's a little bizarre. All the better if you're in, am I right? That's all for our class session for today.

Third-person
"We are not going Trick or treating. One we are both grown men in our twenties and people will think we are weird and two you are sick and it is raining," George says as he fixes his sitting position. "Please Georgie," Dream said with puppy dog eyes. "Fine!" George said as he put on a hoodie and pants. Dream celebrated with joy. He had been trying to convince the older boy for over two in a half hours to let him go trick or treating and all the times he said no. Dream grabs his candy bucket and so does George. But George, being the smart cookie he is, brought an umbrella. (And I forgot the prompt, one second lol sorry). They walk around the neighborhood getting candy from all of the neighbors. "Come, George! Let's go out of town a bit!" Dream says with a smile as he grabbed George's arm. George couldn't even say anything before he was being dragged out of town. They both walked around the unfamiliar neighborhood and got a lot of candy. They both sit at the bus stop (for shelter from the rain, not to get on the bus) and eat some candy. "The old lady..achoo! Gave me a jumbo snickers (I don't even know if those come in jumbo size lol)!" Dream said as he began to eat his snickers bar. "She gave me skittles and some sour patches George says as he eats some of the sour patches (I hate candy, so I am just thinking of whatever comes to mind). Dream sneezes once more. George sighs and then says "I am going to go get us some warm pizza from that pizza shop and you can walk home," George says with a smile. "Okay, achoo. Bye for now!" Dream said as he waved off George. The two then part ways. George had left Dream and Dream just realized his phone had died and he had no other light than the street lamps. And little did Dream no his pillowcase had also ripped (take note). Dream sighed as he walked back the way he came. Then he came to a street light. There were many street lights leading towards two different streets. It was raining so Dream picked the right path, well not really. He went down the wrong street because this is my story. "Where...achoo am I?" Dream questioned. There was a dead end and all the street lights were off. After ten minutes of wandering around Dream arrives at an abandoned park. "I'll just sleep here for the night," Dream says sadly as he sits on the swings and stuffs his face with the candy he had left.
Time travel to our baby gogy. Time travel brought to you by this one-shot nearly being over. Time travel also brought to you by this not being a time skip. Time traveler also brought you by me watching Grian.
"Finally," George says to himself as he covers himself and he covers the pizza with the umbrella. George had texted Dream a while ago and still no response. George was starting to get a little worried. His best friend is sick and out in the pouring rain and he is not answering his texts or calls. He calls Dream, but it goes straight to voicemail. George sighs as he walks back to the bus stop and goes from there. George looks around he sees candy on the floor in a trail leading towards somewhere. "That's got to be him," George says to himself as he picks up the candy trail one by one. George follows the trail all the way up to an abandoned park. George opened the creaky gate and walked in the park and looked around a bit. After a few minutes of looking around, he saw a figure sitting on the swings. "Dream!" He yelled as he ran over to the soaking wet boy. The boy looked up at him with tired eyes. George drops the pizza and George holds Dream in his arms. "I called an uber, lets go home," George says with a smile as the two of them get into the uber.
George and Dream both got home safely and George made sure both he and Dream were well in the morning. That's where the story ends. Sorry, it is kind of short, but I am lazy and I wanted to get this out. Anyway, Toodles for now. I might get another story out today. I will also do a birthday special for our baby!
