🎉Masquerade Ball🎉

This is my New Years' special. 2020 has been one of the fastest and most craziest years definitely. The prompt is everyone is dressed up and they are all at a party (there will be like no alcohol because a lot of the Dream smp people can't legally drink). I probably won't mention a lot of people, because I'm lazy. Anyway so SapNap was being very bold and yeah I let the story play by ear. This one will be sort of long. I hope you enjoy this.

Just to make things clear, it's best to play 'Truth or Dare' with a large group of people so that it's more enjoyable and unpredictable. Use a bottle to spin and determine who asks whom to reveal a secret or complete a dare. It's a fun and simple game to play whenever you're stuck at a boring party and want to make things interesting. You can test your friends' ability to complete different dares, and if they would prefer completing a dare to reveal a secret.

"I look cute as hell," (That's an interesting way to start this story) Sapnap said as he looked at himself in the full-body mirror, that is not evil this time. Sapnap had a bright red dress and some gold sandals (my mom gave me that idea, so thank you to her). The red dress stopped mid-thigh and it was actually really cute and it fit Sapnap's frame very well. "I look better," Dream said with a smile. Dream had on a tightly fitted suit that was a dark green color (also my mom's idea lol, she has a lot of cute outfit ideas lol). George had on a black dress that went down to the floor and it fitted tightly around him (I am too lazy to ask my mom for more outfit ideas lol). They were ready for the New Years' party. They all put on their masquerade mask and the three of them walked down the stairs. (No rona, I am too lazy to write about it). It was a masquerade type ball, so they had to hide their identity's until they end off the ball. (Dresses, gowns, or suits were mandatory for all. "Do you like my dress?" Tubbo said spinning around in their dark green sundress. Tubbo had a dark green mask on his face. "It's cute," Tommy said as he fixed his suit tie. Tommy had on a red suit with a white button-up underneath it. Tommy had a half white and half red masquerade ball mask. "Glad you guys came," Dream said as he greeted the guest. Quackity was sat by the fruit punch table in his purple dress with an orange mask. He was drinking it likes there was no tomorrow. Next to him sat Wilbur was playing his guitar and playing some music silently. Wilbur had a bright yellow gown. It went off the shoulder and it was a long sleeve and it went down to the floor and Wilbur had a mask painted on his face and it was yellow. Fundy had on an orange suit and an orange mask. A few others arrived and the New Years' masquerade ball had started. The music began to play (careless whisper is going to play because I don't care. The lyrics are going to be in italics). I feel so unsure. Everyone began to dance to the song. As I take your hand and lead you to the dance floor. "Come on George! Dance with me," Sapnap said as he went to George's side. As the music dies, something in your eyes. "Uh, I don't know. I am not the best at dancing," George said shyly. Calls to mind a silver screen. "Come on, why not try it!" Sapnap said as he grabbed George's hand and braced George to dance. And all its sad good-byes. Sapnap smiled as both he and George made it to the dance floor and began to dance together. 'm never gonna dance again. (I'm getting lazy, so it will just be the song lyrics and then I will put some text and dialogue when I feel like it). Guilty feet have got no rhythm. Though it's easy to pretend. I know you're not a fool. Should've known better than to cheat a friend. The two of them swayed to the sound of the music, forgetting other people were there and they just became absorbed in each other presence. And waste the chance that I'd been given. So I'm never gonna dance again. The way I danced with you.Time can never mend.The careless whispers of a good friend.To the heart and mind. Ignorance is kind. "Your dress is really pretty," Sapnap said with a smile. There's no comfort in the truth. Pain is all you'll find. George smiled as Sapnap kissed his forehead. I'm never gonna dance again. Guilty feet have got no rhythm. Though it's easy to pretend. I know you're not a fool. "Yours is too," George said as he looked at Sapnap's dress. I should've known better than to cheat a friend. And waste the chance that I'd been given. So I'm never gonna dance again.The way I danced with you, oh. Never without your love. Tonight the music seems so loud. I wish that we could lose this crowd. Maybe it's better this way. We'd hurt each other with the things we'd want to say. We could have been so good together.We could have lived this dance forever. But no one's gonna dance with me. Please stay. And I'm never gonna dance again. Guilty feet have got no rhythm.Though it's easy to pretend. I know you're not a fool. Should've known better than to cheat a friend. That you had to leave me alone? "Thank you for this dance," Sapnap said with a smile as he bowed at George. "Anytime," George said as he bowed to Sapnap as well. Fruit punch and Apple cider were passed out to all of those who had arrived. None of it had alcohol, because there are a lot of minors in this bitch. Everyone began to drink their drinks and sit on the floor for their game of truth or dare. "Rules are simple. If you don't want to do or say anything you don't have to. We don't force people in this place. If you do decide to do it, you can back out of it at any time. Those are the rules now let's start the game," Dream said with a smile and the game had commenced. (George, Sapnap, Dream, Tubbo, Tommy, Fundy, Wilbur, Quackity, and Karl (all of these people need to talk), sorry I didn't do everyone I am lazy and this has to be done in a few hours, so yeah. We are almost done, so it's all good). "George you go first. Truth or dare?' Dream asked. George sighed. "Truth," He said simply. "How tall are you?" Dream asked with a cheeky smile. George's face grew flustered as he mumbled something under his breath. "What was that?" Dream playfully said with a small smile. "5 foot and nine inches," George said quickly. Dream then revealed the truth that George was 5 foot and eight inches and everyone laughed. George laughed nervously, so it was all in good fun. "George it's your turn to give someone a dare," Dream said with a smile. "Okay, uh (George looked around the room at the people who were sitting in the circle). Sapnap. Um truth or dare," George asked the younger boy. "Uh. Dare!" Sapnap said with excitement. "Hold hands with one of the other players for the rest of the game," George said. Sapnap smiled. He sat next to Karl and took his hand in his hand. "Okay, Dream truth or dare," Sapnap said with a cheeky laugh. "Dare!" Dream said with a smile. "Ask the person you've been crushing on out on a date for this weekend," Sapnap said with a cheeky grin once more. Dream grew flustered and looked over at George. "George you abnormally cute person. Will you go on a date with me?" Dream asked. "Oh, um, of course," George said with a smile. Dream smiled as well as they both leaned in for a side hug. "Tubbo, truth, or dare?" Dream asked with an eyebrow raise. "Truth," Tubbo said with a small smile. "Have you ever stolen anything?" Dream asked. Tubbo looked down and bit his lip. "Maybe once. Eh, Tommy. Truth or Dare?" Tubbo asked.

The game went on and on and on until everyone who was participating had their turn. I got lazy and I am working on this and it's like twenty minutes till new years, so I am rushing. I hope all those who are in 2021 are having a nice 2021. Time skip to when everybody says happy New Years and then they dip and then the Dream Team has a sleepover and yeah. "Happy new year!" Everyone said in unison. They said their cheers and drank the juices. People made small talk as Dream gave them the boot and kicked them out of the door. They had cleaned up the house and made sure no one was in the bathroom or closet. They changed out of their dressy attire and into pajamas. "That was a nice year. Thank you so much for being my friends," Dream said and they all hugged.
