The class sit in the waiting room and Katsuki sits next to Akali, "you calm yet?" Bakugou whispers in her ear and she nods, "I'm sorry, I know I've been beating around the Bush making excuses instead of saying what I really want to say, I'm sorry Akali"

"Midoriya" Akali was about to say something, but Todoroki's voice made her forget what she was about to say, "from an objective stand point I'm stronger than you, but you've got All Might in your corner helping you out and if you're connected to the number one hero somehow than know that I will beat you"

Akali was about to get out of her seat, but Bakugou grabbed her waist and practically threw her on his lap, "stay calm" she glares at him because what he's saying is very hypocritical he's acting cool on the outside, but that's not the case

"Time to go" the door swings open and they follow the Pro who guides them to the stage, "this way and turn left" they walk to the stage and the closer they get the louder Present Mics voice

All the other first years are now on the field and Midnight announces the first event it's an obstacle course, "Begin"

Todoroki starts off with an ice attack freezing most of the people in their tracks lucky for Akali Mina was nice enough to melt her out of the ice, "friends have to stick together you know"

"Thanks Mina, I owe you one"

Akali stands next to Zero and makes gloves with Tape like wrist locks Akali did a lot of joint training with a few of her classmates and picked up a few tricks, she raced Iida to work on her speed and stamina had dance lessons with Mina, met up with Sero to find new uses for her quirk and learn to use it more efficiently and had sleep overs at Izuku's for strategy talk and combat training

She follows behind Sero using her tap the same as him getting past the robots and sprinting past everyone to catch up to Todoroki, she uses the tap to get past the second obstacle stopping right behind Todoroki at the  mine field

"Woah, when did you get so fast" she turns and looks at Asui behind her, "I trained with Iida, you breezed past the second obstacle I totally want to do some training with you it could come in handy"

"Be careful you almost stepped on an explosive" Asui used her tongue to hold Akali's leg in place so she takes a step back, "thank you Tsu"

"Neo? What the hell are you doing here?"

"I could ask you the same thing" she stops and watches Midoriya gather a bunch of explosives, "shouldn't you be taking this more seriously?"

"If you mean trying to get to first place hell no, UA is not made out of a bunch of idiots first place is trap"

Shigaraki spots Akali having a casual chat with Shoji and Asui explaining her theory about first place being a trap, the screen shows Bakugou and Todoroki fighting a big explosion goes off at the back and Midoriya is going straight for first place

He catches a glimpse of Akali cheering and accidentally sets of a mine field getting blown back and landing on top of Monoma, "just the person I was hoping to bump into"

Everyone hears the crowd on the other side cheering, "I guess that's my cue to get serious"

Akali uses her quirk and gets on her bike setting off explosions on purpose and melting Todoroki's ice path she makes it into 6th place and nearly gave Bakugou a heart attack because he was sure she was going to ram him with the bike

She stands next to Midoriya and celebrates his victory dancing around him throwing flowers over his head the purple ones glowing, Bakugou notices that some are illusions and some are not
