There was a lot of waiting. About forty five minutes ago, Fleur Delacour had been disqualified but nothing had really happend since.

"I'm bored." Fred told me for the third time.

"Me too." I agreed, tapping my foot in the floor.

"I hope he's okay!" Hermione said, chewing her lip.

"Hermione, he is fine, he will be fine, you however may end up hexed if you keep worrying." Ron said, annoyed. Hermione's eyes started to water again, this time we ignored her, letting her comfort herself.

"Something is still off." I muttered, my leg shaking impatiently.

"It's fine." Ron told me, putting his hand on my thigh forcing my leg to stop shaking. He didn't lift it back up.

I lay my head on his shoulder and stared into the sky, the sun had set behind us, leaving the sky greyish blue.

"What makes the sky blue?" I asked.

"Crayons." Ron replied.

"Makes sense." I nodded.

Lee came from behind us and said quietly.

"I don't like the placement of your hand." Ron went red and began moving it away. I grabbed it and placed it back where it was.

"I do." I whispered back to Lee, who looked enraged but humoured at the same time. He sat back in his chair staring back at the maze infront of us, that was then I realized Katie Bell beside him, they're hands locked around each other's. I turned back around in my seat, smirking.

Harry suddenly staggered out of the maze, a figure was placed on the grass infront of him. Cheers erupted from all around me and trumpets began to play

"I told you nothinging would happen." Ron shouted to me.

I looked down at the grass at the shape of a boy. Harry was bent over it shaking with sobs.

"Ron, thats Cedric on the ground, he's dead!" I said shakily, grabbing Ron's arm as I fell into my seat. Ron looked at Hermione who had a huge grin on her face, then whispered something to her as she turned white. A scream was heard from Fleur and worry began to spread over the students of Hogwarts.

I lost what had happened after that, in shock. I was aware of students crying out and shouting and some of them rushing past me, but it all seemed surreal, almost slow motion. I knew something bad was happening, I didn't try to stop it.

Ron's pov

Harry was rushed away by Moody as the crowd was silent, Mr Diggory's sobs were all that could be heard. Hermione frowned at the scene I turned to see y/n in silent distraught.

As the crowd began to move away, leaving the grieving father in peace, I had to pull y/n from her seat.

"Come on, we need to leave now." I whispered, my arm holding her rigid body up. She slowly moved her feet towards Hogwarts, frozen with stress.

I walked into the common room everyone had gone straight to they're rooms. The couch was out of place but I sat y/n in the arm chair.

"I knew. I knew something bad was going to happen." Her voice surprisingly strong, compared to her Shay hands and pale face.

"No, none of it was your fault. We don't even know how he died, you were just worried about Harry, that's all. Your mind made you think that it was about the whole tournament so that you wouldn't blame yourself for anything that happened to Harry , but then Harry was okay, so you're blaming Cedric in yourself." I said, surprising myself by how right I was.
