Time skip to the Christmas holidays
"Hermione do you have my blue shirt with the-" I was cut off as the shirt landed in my suitcase.
"When will you be at the burrow?" I asked her. I was spending until boxing day at the burrow and then going home for the rest of the holidays.
"Not the burrow, y/n. Grimmauld place." Ginny corrected me.
"I'll be there on the twenty third." Hermione struggled to say as she zipped her case up.
"Finally." I muttered zipping mine shut too.
"I don't see why we have to pack, we'll be back in like a month." Ginny stood with her hands on her hips.
"And now we have to lug them downstairs." She added, pulling it out the door. Ron walked passed her and into the room, making her struggle even more.
"I'll take that." Ron picked up my case and walked out the room, nudging Ginny as he went.
"Chivalry." I nodded.
"Dickhead." Ginny muttered.
"Wait till he's on the stairs, throw yours down and send him flying." Hermione smiled at us.
"W- I- Hermione Granger, what the actual fuck?" Ginny burst out laughing.
"What? I'm putting my creative mind to good use." She nodded certainly, shoving Ginny's suitcase out the room.
"She never ceases to surprise me." I shook my head and heading after Ron.
"I'll shout for you to duck if she does anything hasty!" Ginny called after me.
"What's she on about?" Ron asked as I caught up with him.
"'Mione's plan to concuss you." I shrugged nonchalantly, waving to George at the bottom of the stairs.
"Concuss?" I heard Ron mutter, confused. I headed towards George.
"Mum says everyoneshould stick together, get seats that are near to each other's on the train." George informed me.
"Why are you in charge?" Ron asked coming up behind me.
"I'm the oldest." He messed up Ron's hair.
"Fred's the oldest." I corrected him. Be frowned at me.
"One, it's creepy that you know that. Two,of Fred was in charge we'd end up in wales. Now, leave me alone." George pushed Ron and I aside and headed towards the boys dorms.
"Might as well have a clipboard." Harry appeared beside me.
"Yes we'll, you heard him. Stick together." Ginny called running down stairs.
"To the carridge's." Ron and I linked arms and walked through the common room, Ginny, harry and Hermione behind us.
"You know you still haven't told me what you want for Christmas, it's in nine days." I reminded Ron.
"You didn't tell me what you wanted." Ron replied.
"I said I wanted you to bake me a cake. The muggle way." I reminded him.
"But I can't do that." Ron complained.
"I know, I'm hoping for a Christmas miracle. What do you want though?" I asked again.
"I really have no idea." Ron sighed.
"It doesn't matter, because I just had an idea." Hermione chimed in from behind us.
"Not an ounce of privacy around this lot." Ron mutters shaking his head.
"I'll tell you on the train." Hermione smiled at me.
"Take in the last of the heat. It's about to be cold for the next half hour." Ron said as I opened the door to outside.
