"Do you think he'll be okay?" Hermione asked as Harry left the common room for his detention.
"It's detention, not bloody prison." Ron shook his head at the worried Hermione as he plopped down in the armchair.
"You know what I miss. Our little kitchen room." I crossed my legs as I sat on the floor.
"Correction, the twins' little kitchen room." Fred and George sang as they say on the couch, either side of Hermione.
"Right." I nodded, fidgeting. I stood up from my place on the floor and walked around the common room.
"You okay?" Ron asked as I walked back to where I started.
"I dunno, just suddenly quite giddy? I'm not sure how to explain it." I said biting my lip. They all watched me as I walked another lap of the common room.
"Come on, let's go for a walk." I pulled Ron from the chair and out the common room.
"You sure you're alright?" Ron asked putting his hand against my forehead to check my temperature.
"Not all right, I'm half left." I smirked. He frowned, cringing a little at my joke.
"Shit, I spent all summer with one of the cheesiest men on the planet. I think he rubbed off on me a little." I laughed, thinking about Malcom.
"Who did you spend summer with?" Ron asked, an edge to his voice.
"Malcom, mum's boyfriend." I smiled at his sudden jealousy.
We walked hand in hand through the castle, our footsteps echoing around the halls.
"Why weren't we friends in first year year?" Ron asked frowning. I thought for a moment.
"First year you guys kind of just ignored me, not that I made any effort to talk to you either. Second year, Hermione seemed to like me a bit, I helped to make the poly juicy potion, remember. We were sort of friends, but we weren't very close. The same with third year, except I wasn't invited to watch Sirius bite a chunk out of your leg, which I would've loved to have seen by the way." I rambled to him, letting out all of my energy, he seemed to be listening.
"Well, who were you with when I didn't notice your existence?" He smirked, reaching his hand around my waist.
"Lee, or by myself. But it's fine, I like being alone. Less people to let me down."I shrugged, leaning my head on his shoulder.
"You're the weirdest, fantastic, but weirdest person I've ever met." He smiled at me.
"What's one thing you did in first year, that I don't know about?" I asked him.
"One time in first year, I looked into the mirror of erised. I saw myself, I was the head boy and Quidditch captain." Ron smiled at me.
"Well, what do you think you would see?" Ron asked me.
"Ask me tomorrow and I'll have an answer." I smiled at him.
"One thing you did in first year that I don't know about?" Ron asked playing with my hair.
"Do you know Lavender Brown?" I asked, he thought for a moment before nodding.
"She used to be obsessed, and I mean obsessed with Dean until this one time in potions she tried to give him a love potion but I saw her and switched some potions around. Long story short she ended up drinking her own love potion and reciting Romeo and Juliet to a mirror. I don't even know how she figured out how to do a love potion." I smiled at Ron.
He laughed as he pulled my bag up the stairs to the common room.
"And you're are you're okay?" He asked again, stopping at the top of the stairs to kiss me.
"I'm perfectly fine." I smiled as he pulled away.

"Please Hermione!" Ron begged as they walked into the common room.
"Fine, but just the introduction." Hermione gave in.
"You are honestly the most brilliant girls I've ever met and if I'm ever mean to you again-" Ron began.
"I'll know you've gone back to normal." Hermione finished.
"Well if she's the most brilliant, where does that put me?" I asked as I walked in behind the pair, clearing my throat.
"Most Fabulous?" He questioned, squirming at the uncomfortable situation he'd put himself in.
"Nice try." I smirked, watching as Harry came in a book in his hand. He started talking to them both leaving me just out of earshot. I was about to ask what they were talking about when Hermione pointed at Harry's hand.
"Harry, what's wrong with your hand?" Hermione asked worriedly, Harry picked up the opposite hand to the one she was talking about and glanced at it.
"Nothing." He hesitated.

Random"I think I'll meet you guys there, I'm going to go and see if I can talk to Harry." Hermione whispered in my ear. I gave her a nod and sat down on the couch with Ron. "I like this." Ron said, pulling the long braid I had going down my back. "Eat you...
