Asuna was in the kitchen making breakfast.
Kirito walked out of his room, dressed but still half asleep, and went to the kitchen.
He sniffed the air and smelled the delicious fragrance of eggs and bacon being grilled. "Oh, morning Kirito. Sleep well?"
The young male could only groan as he was extremely tired still. "Still sleepy? That's what happens when you stay up late and wake up early."
Asuna turned back to the breakfast. "Go back to bed. I'll come get you when breakfast is ready." The young woman then felt her lover wrap his arms around her hips and rest his head on her shoulder.
"Kirito?" She heard him sniff. "Breakfast smells good." Kirito then smelled Asuna's hair. "But not as much as you." Asuna blushed at the comment. "Just go back to bed."
Kirito let out a little chuckle and obeyed his girlfriend's order.
Kirito was sleeping soundly, and felt his energy get stored up, forcing him to open his eyes. He turned over to see Asuna sit beside the bed staring at him.
"What?" "I wanted to wake you up, but you just looked so peaceful." She stood up. "Come on. Breakfast is ready."
Kirito looked down at his breakfast, which consisted of the classic bacon, eggs, and toast.
He took a bite from the bacon, and his eyes sparkled.
"It's delicious!"
"So you have said. Every day."
"But it's true!"
Asuna laughed. "I know. And I am grateful for the compliment."
