It was morning, and the sun came up. Maki's eyes fluttered open and she noticed she was looking into the chest of Kaito Momota, the ultimate astronaut. Her husband.
She was about to stand up, when she felt two arms hold her back. "Please don't go", mumbled Kaito. Maki looked at his still sleeping face. "Kaito, I have to go make breakfast." She was then pulled into a tight hug by Kaito. "You can do that later."
Maki was about to protest, but stopped herself. Once Kaito has decided something, there's no changing his mind. Maki wrapped her arms around her husband, and snuggled closer to him.
"I have to admit, this is nice", said Maki. The two married lovers continued to snuggle for about ten seconds, before they heard their bedroom door open. "Mom! Dad!", exclaimed their six year old daughter, Suki. "We want breakfast!" From behind Suki came her older sister, Kaishi. "I tried to stop her", she said. "But she's got her father's determination, right?", said Maki. Kaishi nodded.
Suki hopped onto the bed and slammed her fists into her father. "Breakfast! I want breakfast! I want-!" She was interrupted by Kaito pulling her into the bed in between him and Maki. "Hey!" "Shhh. Just relax and stay with mommy and daddy, okay?" Suki went quiet and did as her father told.
Maki looked at Kaishi and patted the spot next her. "Come on." Kaishi climbed into the bed with her family. Before you knew it, Kaito grabbed them all together and hugged them tight. "Now this is my kinda morning. Being with my family." Maki smiled. "It's my kind of morning too."
