This one shot is based off of this song:

It was a cold winter night when Blake was sitting by the window, excitement flowing through her body.
Her girlfriend, Yang, had left for a whole month on a hunting trip. Because of an injury, Blake couldn't join her.
The cat faunus couldn't wait anymore. She loved Yang so much, she hated being separated from her. She missed everything about her. Her smile, her stupid puns, her golden hair, and most of all, her warmth.
Oh, definitely her warmth.
Every night, when they sleep together, Yang always kept Blake warm. It's not just that moment either. Everything about that blonde was enough to make her feel warm inside.
Her voice was like sunshine. A warm, satisfying sunshine.
Blake rubbed her arms, shivering slightly. "Please hurry, Yang."
She looked beyond the horizon and saw an all too familiar ship. "Yang!"
The cat girl put in a jacket and ran out the door.
"Blake?", asked Weiss, who didn't get a response as her teammate dashed past her. "What's up with her?" "Weiss! Yang is back!", exclaimed Ruby, who grabbed her girlfriend's hand and dragged her to the harbor.
The ship stopped, and the hunters that were aboard walk off.
A certain blonde looked into the crowd, searching for her lover.
"Yang!" Yang turned her head to the voice and saw Blake running to her. "Blake!"
They ran towards each other and entered an embrace. "I've missed you so much!"
"Not as much as I have", said Blake. "Oh? How so?" Blake placed her hand on Yang's cheek. "Without your arms around me, without you on my skin, without you on my body..."
Yang gave her girlfriend a look telling her to continue.
"I don't mean to be desperate, but I don't wanna let go of the things that keep me warm." Blake put her hands on Yang's chest.
"Without you I'm just cold."
Yang smiled. "Who knew you could be so poetic, babe. It's sweet." "Yeah, but screw talking."
Before Yang could ask what she meant, Blake pulled her into a kiss, which she gladly melted into.
