Satsuki Momoi paced around her room, freaking out. "Okay, Satsuki. Calm down. You've wanted this for so long, so why so nervous?"
The reason Satsuki was freaking out, was because she had asked her crush, Tetsuya Kuroko, out in a date. A date. An actual date. And he accepted. He actually accepted!
Satsuki opened her closet and searched for a set of clothes to wear. She chose a teal gypsy shirt and a green skirt.
Kuroko waited, the people passing by not noticing him, as usual. He wore a dark blue polo shirt and jeans.
"Tetsu!" He looked ahead and saw his date running towards him. People looked at where she was going, becoming confused upon seeing a boy they could've sworn wasn't there before.
"Hello, Momoi." "Hi. So, where to?" Kuroko took Satsuki's hand and led her to a restaurant.
They entered and were greeted by a waiter.
"Hello there. Table for one?" "Two, actually", replied Satsuki. The waiter was confused, before finally noticing Kuroko. "Oh! My apologies! Right this way then!"
The two were lead to a table, and given menus. "What are you gonna get?", asked Kuroko. "Hmmm. I think I'll get the sashimi." "Then I'll have yakitori." "Coming right up." The waiter walked away, leaving the two alone.
"So... here we are. Just the two of us. On a date." Kuroko's expression didn't change. "Um, so, what's been going on lately?" "Just practicing for our next match." "Anything else?" "Honestly, no."
An awkward silence hung in the air. "I like your outfit." "Hm?" "Your outfit. Teal looks good on you." Satsuki blushed. "He likes my outfit!"
"Here are your meals."
The waiter gave Kuroko and Satsuki the food they ordered. Satsuki licked her lips as she looked at her sashimi. Kuroko looked at her glistening lips and blushed at how pretty they looked. "Hm? What's wrong? You want some of my sashimi?" Kuroko snapped out of his daze. "Here." Satsuki picked up a piece of her food with her chopsticks and held it out to Kuroko. He leaned forward and put it in his mouth. "It tastes good." He then took the chopsticks out of Satsuki's hand.
"Wha-?" Kuroko picked up some sashimi with the two sticks and held it out for Satsuki. He noticed her surprised expression. "I thought couples do this." Satsuki blushed upon hearing Kuroko say couples. She ate the sashimi, and smiled upon tasting the flavor. "It's so good!" "Want to try some of my yakitori?" Satsuki nodded. Kuroko gave the chicken over to the pink haired girl, who took a small bite from it. "Yum!" Kuroko took a bite as well. "It is."
The date came to an end and the couple walked out of the restaurant. "That was fun", said Kuroko. "Yeah." "Want to do it again sometime?" Satsuki was shocked, but smiled. "Yeah. I'd love that."
