It was the raining season, and there was a heavy downpour in Japan.
Meanwhile at UA, school for future heroes, classes had just ended and Tsuyu was walking with her friends back to the dorms.
"Finally! Weekend is here!", exclaimed Mina.
Her friends just giggled at her behavior. As the girls arrived at their destination, a certain frog girl noticed a raven headed boy sitting on the steps of the dorms.
"You guys go on ahead, I gotta take care of something", said Tsuyu.
"Okay Tsu. Just don't stay out too long in the rain", said Momo.
Tsuyu walked over to Tokoyami.
"Tokoyami? You okay?"
Tokoyami looked at the frog girl. "I'm fine."
Tsuyu knew he was lying. She saw tear stains on his cheeks.
"Don't lie to me."
"Huh?"
"You don't have to hide anything from me, Tokoyami. If something's bothering you, tell me. I'll help."
The bird boy just looked away again, and tears fell down his face.
"Tsu... am I a monster?"
Tsuyu was taken aback. "What do you mean?"
Tokoyami took a deep breath. "It happened yesterday..."Yesterday
School was over, and Tokoyami was sitting at the fountain, minding his own business.
That was, until he heard a scream.
He ran to the fence and saw two kids being picked on by a man.
"Dark Shadow, help me get over there."
"Right!"
The shadowy beast popped out and hoisted Tokoyami over the fence. He ran to the man and scared him off with Dark Shadow.
"Are you kids alright?"
Tokoyami turned to the two kids, and saw fear in their eyes. "Monster!"
Tokoyami's eyes widened. He then heard mumbling and saw people staring at him.
"What are you all looking at?!", exclaimed Dark Shadow.
All the people screamed and ran for their lives.Present
"It happened this morning too", said Tokoyami.
Tsuyu listened, her heart breaking over hearing her crush suffering.
"Maybe their right. Maybe I am just a monster."
"Tokoyami, look at me."
"Why? So you could be scared? So you can run away? So you can leave me?! Why do you want to..."
The bird boy was cut off by Tsuyu kissing him.
"Tokoyami, if you really were a monster, then you wouldn't be in this school. In my eyes, you're brave, caring, and an amazing hero. I don't know what I'd do if I lost you."
Tokoyami was silent, then he cried again. But this time, they were tears of joy. Joy of being accepted.
"Thank you Tsu."
"You can thank me by taking me on a date. I did kiss you after all."
"So, does that make us..."
"If you want it to."
Tokoyami wiped his tears and gave Tsu a peck on the lips. (No pun intended)
"I would love that."A quick message to everyone.
Ignore all the rude comments people give you. If they call you these things, then they are blind and haven't seen the true you. And whether you deny it or not, there will always, ALWAYS, be someone who loves you.
