It was a quiet night in the city of Ikebukuro, the city full of strange wonders. And in an apartment, two lovers were sleeping soundly in a bed together. Their slumber, however, was interrupted by the cry of an infant.
Celty grabbed her PDA and typed. "Shinra?" "Yeah, I hear it, but do I have to?" "Fine, I'll help you." The couple got up from their bed and went to the room of their two children. They opened the door and saw their son Yami bawling his eyes out. Their daughter, Hinami, was moving, but not crying, seeing as she inherited Celty's lack of a head.
"I got Hinami", said Shinra, as he walked over to his daughter. Celty picked up her son and used her shadows to grab his rattle to lull him to sleep. It didn't work, so she grabbed a teddy bear instead. Nothing.
Shinra chuckled. "Maybe he's hungry." Celty put down the toys and took Yami to the kitchen. There, she placed him on the table so she could make him some milk.
After about two minutes Celty had finished and fed her infant son the bottle of milk. "Hey, what do you know, I was right", said Shinra, who walked into the room. His wife looked at him, wondering where her daughter was. Shinra gestured to the door. "She's back to sleep. Don't worry."
Celty looked down at Yami and saw he was back to sleep. She put the bottle down and took the sleeping baby back to his room. Afterwards, she and Shinra went back to their room. "Now that that's done, let's get our beauty sleep back on track", said Shinra, as he wrapped his arms around Celty.
