The Goblin Slayer and Priestess had just completed a quest. As the Slayer removed a dagger from the skull of a goblin, he notices Priestess staggering a bit.
"You okay? Did one of them get you?" The Priestess shook her head. Goblin Slayer walked over to her and looked at her eyes, noticing dark circles under them.
"Have you gotten any sleep?" "No. Too busy." "Busy? Busy with what?" "Practicing." Goblin Slayer wanted to ask more, but noticed how Priestess's eyes were struggling to stay open.
"When we get back to the guild, you're going to get some sleep."
"But I need to... practice... more..."
The Priestess's eyes then shut closed, collapsing onto the ground asleep.
Goblin Slayer sighed and picked her up, resting her onto his back.
And so began the journey back to the guild. The doors to the guild swung open, revealing Goblin Slayer carrying a slumbering Priestess in his back.
"Orcbolg! Is something wrong with Priestess?" "No. She's just very tired. I should get her to a room." "Right. Of course."
Goblin Slayer walked up the stairs and entered Priestess's room. He placed her on the bed and covered her with the blanket.
He looked at her sleeping face, then removed his helmet. He lowered his head a pecked Priestess's cheek, then put his helmet back on and left the room.
"Sleep peacefully, Priestess."
