Cam's POV
"I really hope we don't see him today. And if we do, I need you to do the talking."
"I definitely can do that. She's going to be there you know. I just want you to be prepared for that."
"I know. At this point, I've just accepted the fact that it's actually happening. There's nothing I can do to change it so I'm not going to worry about it. If she wants sloppy seconds, she can have them." Cas flipped this switch often so I didn't know what to think. She fixed my hair a little and then looked at my face. "Can I play matchmaker?"
I shook my head no. I seen what happened to Cody and I didn't want that for myself. "Let's get going," I said and grabbed my phone and the car keys. The five of us walked down to the car and drove to the stadium.
As we walked in wearing our Yelich jerseys, we got lots of boos and we laughed a little. "I hate Wrigley with a passion," Cas said as we sat down.
"Me and you both," I told her and gave Mason my phone to use. The two of us looked around and we finally had seen Nico. "I can't believe you liked that."
"Barely." We watched the guys finish up their last minute stretching before the game was starting.
Once the game started, Christian managed to hit a ball into right field. Cas and I both sat up because of how close Christian and Nico were. When Christian got to second on a single, Nico was receiving the ball from the outfield.
He bumped into Christian's side a little, and I could see Christian say something. They went back and fourth until their teammates ran onto the field and had to get in between them. "He's gonna be in a bad mood," Cas said.
"I know."
Cassie's POV
"Hey," I said and kissed Christian's cheek. He smiled and looked down at me. "Cheer up please."
He pulled me in for a kiss and it made me happy. When we started walking out, it was no surprise but we finally ran into them. As Nico tried to say something, Christian pulled me so we didn't have to speak to them. "That was a close call." I nodded and then we met Cam at the car.
"Where should we eat dinner?" I asked as I got into the back seat with Mason.
"I don't care. I really could go for anything," Cam said and then Christian agreed. Cam started driving us and I watched Mason start to fall asleep next to me. When we got there, Cam got Mason out and I sat there for a few seconds.
"You good babe?" Christian asked and he put his head in and looked at me. I shrugged. "Do you want to talk?"
"I'm just like really hungry. And I want it to be the off-season so we can go home."
"I understand that Cas. Soon. And we can start looking at houses out there." I frowned a little. Although we are outgrowing the house, I didn't want to move. "I know you aren't happy about it. But I want the kids to have as much room as they possibly can."
He pecked my lips and then he got Brielle and I followed them out. "She is still super tiny Christian," I said and he nodded.
"I know, she looks like the size of the twins when they were born." I looked at Christian's muscles as he held the seat. "Stop staring. I know you want me."
"Okay I'm not afraid to show it either." He got a little flustered by me.
"Is it getting hot or is it just me?" He said and fanned himself.
"Cassie's got you all worked up," Cam said and the both of us laughed while Christian just looked at us.
"Shut up before I tell Mom about your hickies." I covered Christian's mouth before they start arguing and ruin the night. He took my hand off of his mouth. "Don't defend my brother Cassie."
"I'm not defending him, but you guys start arguing and then won't talk for a day. And I don't want this while we are traveling to be with you Christian."
He glanced at Cam and then back down to me. The hostess came and took us to our seats. Christian took Brielle out of her seat and held her and then pulled me close to him. "My girls are so perfect." Brielle smiled and moved her arms around a little.
"I mean look at all our kids, they have the Yelich genes so how could they not be perfect?" Cam and Christian both blushed.
"So we get a dog Dad?" Noah said out of nowhere and then Christian looked at me.
"I didn't say anything."
"No, I don't want one." Noah was about to say something back but Christian gave him a look. I rubbed his head a little because I felt bad. "Don't give me that look Cas. I really don't want one."
"Mr. Yelich." He sat up a little and scratched his head. "Now that I have your attention, if our kids want one, why not give it a shot when we get back home in Malibu."
He thought for a few minutes and then shrugged.
Christian's POV
"Hey, I need you to run to the store and grab me some pads. And some chocolate, ice cream, and get me something from whatever restaurant you want to stop at."
"Cassie I just got home. I get you're on your period but you don't need all that shit."
She came and grabbed onto my shirt and pulled me close to her. "I need it Christian. And if you don't get it, I will get it myself." I took her hands off of my shirt and watched her give me the death glare.
"Okay crazy, I'll be back in a little bit." I dropped my bag on the floor and grabbed my keys and left. After running to all these stores to try to find the pads she liked, I run into some reporters.
"So Yelich planning anymore kids?" The guy asked and I grabbed what I needed and then left the isle. "Yelich, what are your kids name?"
I went and paid for the stuff before walking out of the store. The guy had followed me and I laughed. "I'm sorry, now is not the time," I said and then got in my car. Down the street was the restaurant I was getting food for Cassie at.
When I got home, she ran upstairs with the bag and then came out in new clothes. "Thanks baby," She said and kissed my cheek.
"Where's Cam?" I asked Cas as we sat at the table and started eating.
"He's out." She took a bite of food as I looked at her. "Out on a date. And don't make fun of him when he gets back because then he's going to be upset." I laughed a little and she hit me gently.
"On a date," She nodded her head again. "Cameron is growing up."
Suddenly the front door opened and Cam walked in. "Cas you're never going to believe it." He noticed I was there and then stopped talking. "When you're done eating, come to my room please."
He went down the hallway, and I got upset. "Why does he feel like he can't talk about this stuff with me. I'm his brother."
"Because you tease him. I'll be back in a few minutes."
Cassie's POV
"Is it possible to be in love after the first date?" He asked me as he walked back and forth in the room.
"Yes I think it is possible. Do you think that's where you're at?" He nodded a little and I jumped up and hugged him. "Cameron! I'm so happy for you!" He laughed some more and let me have my moment. "You know soon you're gonna have to tell your brother. Because i don't want any tension. You guys never were like this and suddenly when I needed you around more, you guys argue all the time."
"I know. To him it seems like you're defending me whenever we just talk. And I understand you two are married and you're his wife and he wants to hang out with you but he doesn't have to be rude."
I got emotional for Cameron. He never showed his emotions so him opening up a little made me sad. "I just want you two to get along. You guys were very close before I got with Christian. So I'm sorry if I ruined your bond but I want you guys to be super close like before."
"Don't worry about it Ms. Braun," I smiled and then left his room.
"Go out on a drive with Cam so you can talk." Christian nodded and got up. I kissed him before he walked to Cam's room.
