Christian's POV

"They're going to be taking their first steps any day now."

"I know, they grew up so fast and it makes me so sad to think about," Cassie said as we watched the boys crawl in the living room. Noah got up and I grabbed my phone to start recording. He tried walking and fell on his butt. "Noah don't trick us."

His little laugh made us laugh. He clapped his hands and then we looked at Mason. "Mase, walk baby," I told him. He tried getting up and then fell back and hit his head on the fireplace.

"Fuck," Cassie said and the both of us jumped up. He was crying and he grabbed his head. "My poor baby," Cas told him and I picked him up.

"You're fine Mase," I said and rubbed his head. "I think we deserve another glass of wine."

"I agree," Cassie said and went to the kitchen and refilled our glasses. Mason cried into my chest and I rubbed his back. "Noey, come on babe."

Cassie sat back with me and we both took sips of our wine. We watched Noah and I recorded him as he got up and took the few steps to the couch. "Noah good job baby," I said and watched Cassie as she picked him up.

"Dada," Mase said and Cassie looked at me annoyed.

"I hate you so much," She said and looked at Noah. She showered him with kisses. "I can't believe I carried him for nine months for his first word to be dada."

"I'm sorry," I said and cleaned up Mason's face. We let Noah walk around for a little bit longer and Mason wouldn't stop saying 'Dada'.

As we laid in bed, Cassie looked at me. I set my phone down and then looked at her. "What's up babe?"

"Are you alright with the team not making the postseason this year?"

"It fucking sucks but I guess it wasn't our year." We were leaving at the end of next week and I was kinda sad.

"I'm sorry," She said and held my hand. "Did you put the gate up at the top of the stairs?"

"Yes, I don't want Noah to think he can walk all the time now and then have him fall down the stairs."

"I love you, I'm going to go to sleep," She said and then kissed my lips for a couple seconds.

"I love you too babe."

In the middle of the night, I woke up to my back being touched. I unwrapped my arms from around Cassie and then turned around. Noah. "Mama."

"I am not your mom little boy. Cassie," I said and tapped her.

"What do you want?"

"Noah walked over here or crawled I'm not sure, but he just said something that'll make you happy."

"Noah," Cassie said and I picked him up and he sat in between us.

"Mama," He said and kissed her cheek.

"I love you so much Noah. You made me so happy. Check the camera to see what Mase is doing."

As I looked at the camera, Mason was trying to get out of the crib and ended up falling. He started crying and I got up to get him. My poor Mase was failing at walking and getting out of the crib.

"Mase you can't be doing that. You can't even walk yet."

"Dada," He said after he finished crying. Our bed was getting very uncomfortable with two boys that thought our bed was theirs. We had a big enough bed but these kids were bed hogs, and they were keeping me away from cuddling Cas.

The boys got comfortable and then we all fell asleep. "Dada," I woke up to Mase saying. I opened my eyes and he was in Cassie's face. "Dada!" He said louder in Cassie's face and she didn't wake up. Mason slapped her in the face and then she woke up.
