Christian's POV
Today's the day. I'm marrying the love of my life; Cassie Braun. It was very nerve wracking to say the least but I was super excited at the same time. Cam came into the room and he had a card and I recognized Cassie's writing instantly. I wrote her one too and got her a bouquet of flowers.
Christian, I'm so glad today is the day we become one. Since the day we met, I knew it was you. Over the past couple years getting to know you has been something that I enjoy so much. From the way you treat me and the kids to the endless laughs you bring us, I want you to know I love you. And I'll love you forever CY.
P.S. My vows will be a lot better babe.
I laughed and put the letter back in the envelope. "Are you ready?" Collin and Cam asked me as they helped me put my tie on.
"Of course. Today she goes from Braun to Yelich, to my fiancé to my wife. What more could I ask for?"
"You know this isn't fair, I don't want to give my bestie to you," Cam said.
"She can still be your bestie. And the guest house is being built so you come down to Milwaukee whenever you want."
"Will it be done by March?"
"Yes, Cassie made it clear if it wasn't, she wasn't going back to Milwaukee," I said and we all laughed. "I can't wait to see her. Tell me how does she look?"
"She looks gorgeous," Cam said and I smiled.
"I wouldn't expect anything less from her." This lady looked gorgeous while she gave birth to my kids.
"Dada!" I heard and I turned around and Noah and Mason were standing there in their little suits.
"Hi guys," I said and picked them up. "Did you see your mommy yet?"
They nodded. "She pwetty," Mason said.
"Cassie's ready whenever you are," My mom said coming in the room. "Oh my gosh! You look so handsome," She said and kissed my cheek.
"Mom," I said with a chuckle.
"I can't believe my first born is getting married today." She kissed my cheek again.
"I know, it's crazy right," Collin said and I glared at him. "Don't look at me, Cassie's waiting on you."
I set the boys down and I walked outside where the photographer wanted me. As I waited patiently for her, I could finally hear her approach. "Are you ready babe?" She asked and I nodded, "Okay you can turn around."
As I turned around, my smile grew so much. She went to wrap her arms around me but I had to wipe my eyes. "Baby, don't cry."
"I can't help myself, you look so beautiful." She pulled me in for a hug and her arms wrapped around me tightly. "Cassie I'm so in love with you," I whispered and then she kissed my cheek.
"I'm in love with you too Christian," She whispered back. We pulled away and she looked at me, "Gosh you're so handsome." I just smiled and looked down. Our photographer took some pictures and then we went back to the rooms.
"Oh my gosh. Fuck this is really happening," I said and smiled.
"You better treat her right," Ryan said and I nodded. Some time had passed and it was time for it to actually start. Cassie and I had made some exceptions to inviting some of the guys from the team to our wedding. As I waited at the altar my emotions were getting the best of me.
I was so lucky to have Cassie and my two little boys. As she walked down the aisle, I started crying again. I had gotten really lucky with this beautiful lady. When she got to the altar, her dad shook my hand and then she stood in front of me. "I'm so nervous," She whispered and I agreed with her.
They said the traditional things and then we were allowed to say our vows. "Christian you can go first."
I took my paper out and started reading. "Cassie Lynn Braun, where do I even begin? The mother of my kids, the love of my life, and my almost wife. C, you mean the world to me. The night we literally ran into each other, I fell in love with you. You looked so perfect and I knew I needed you in my life. Ever since then, everything has been so much better for me. We've been through a lot of things not a lot of couples can say they've been through. But we promised each other through thick and thin that we would stick around. Both of us have made mistakes, but we are both human and have chose to forgive and forget. I promise to be there whenever you need me, even if that means me needing to kill the baby spider in the bathroom at two in the morning." I got a few laughs and one from Cassie. "I promise to love you, Mason, and Noah for eternity. You guys are my joy and I promise to give the three of you the best life. I love you Cassie."
I handed her a tissue and she wiped her eyes. "Christian Stephen Yelich, I just want to say I love you. The night my eyes landed on you, I wanted you so bad. I remember at the beginning of our relationship, we hid it from everyone. What a crazy time in both of our lives. Now look at us, getting married today, and have two handsome little boys. Christian I just want to say thank you for sticking around, despite all the hurt I've put you through." She got choked up and had to stop. Noah ran over and she got down as close to him as she could and he hugged her.
"Love mama," He said and everyone let out their 'awws.'
"I love you too baby," She said and then he sat back down with our mom's. "Sorry. Despite all the hurt I've put you through, not even just recently, in the beginning too. Even when times got tough for me and I took it out on you, you weren't offended and you helped me. Thank you for being the best dad to Mason and Noah and being the best fiancé to me. Thanks for taking a chance on your teammate's younger sister," Everyone laughed and the two of us looked at Ryan. "I'm sorry if I caused any tension between the two of you, but I'm glad Ryan didn't mind in the end. I really do love you Christian. I promise to love you forever and always," She said and we pinky promised.
Every time either one of us said 'forever and always' we pinky promised. I smiled at her and she did the same. We got the rings from Greyson and we finished the ceremony.
"You may now the kiss the bride," He said and I leaned in and we kissed for about ten seconds.
"Ladies and gentlemen, Mr. and Mrs. Yelich!" Everyone cheered and clapped for us. We walked down the aisle and went into the building where we were going to be for the rest of the night.
"We're married babe," Cassie said and kissed me. Mason and Noah ran in the building and I picked both of them up. "Give daddy a kiss." They did as Cassie said and then I set them back down.
"I can definitely say I'm ready for another. Maybe a girl this time?"
"Yes! That's what I want too," She said and hugged me.
"And we will start trying tonight in Tahoe," I said and she let go.
"So Tahoe for tomorrow? Come back pick up the kids and go to the Bahamas?"
"Yes, see you finally got it memorized." Everyone came in and started giving the both of us hugs.
"The Yelich family, I love it," Cody said coming up to us with Ally and our kids.
"When does this become the Bellinger family?" Cas asked and Ally shrugged her shoulders and looked at Cody. We talked to them for a few minutes before going to our seats. "I love you so much Christian," Cassie said and kissed me again.
"I love you too," I said and wrapped my arm around her and her head rested on my shoulder. Some of our family members started giving speeches and Ryan was first.
"So look at these two. I remember when I had the party at my house and I had asked Cassie to get me a drink. As I was waiting for it, I noticed she was chatting with someone, and I had no idea it was Christian. When I found out a few weeks later they were dating, I'm going to be honest, I wasn't too thrilled but Cassie even offered to break up with him to make me happy. I obviously couldn't let that happen because he made her so happy and I loved seeing her like that." Ryan sighed before continuing. "Things happened with Cassie and Christian wasn't able to see her. During that time, Christian couldn't stop talking about Cassie and I kinda put two and two together and got he was in love with her."
"He's right," I told Cas and she smiled. Ryan talked for a little bit longer and then other people did as well.
