Cassie's POV
Another negative pregnancy test. I walked out of the bathroom and looked at Christian and shook my head no. His arms opened and I walked into them. "I'm sorry babe."
I couldn't even respond to him right now. He rubbed my back for a few minutes before I was able to get out of his arms. "I don't know if I told you but I'm taking the kids with me back to Malibu tomorrow and we are going for three days."
"What, why are you leaving me?" Christian asked and played with the top of my shorts.
"I want to go see Liam graduate. And I want to give him a little gift before he heads off to college. So I need a signed bat and baseball from you sir."
"Yes ma'am," He said and kissed me. "Where's he going to college?"
"UCLA for baseball," I said, "And he always talked about you so highly. Like before we were even a thing, him and some of the baseball boys just talked about how you are doing good."
"Well, what time is the graduation?"
"5 PM."
"I think I can manage to slip back out to California for a few hours to go give him a few things as well. And then we can come home as a family?"
"Yes we can do that." He looked at me in the eyes.
"Just let it out," Christian said and I started crying on him. "Noah and Mason go, we will be out there in a few minutes." I could hear their footsteps leave the room.
"Christian the only time we don't try is when I'm on my period and when you're gone and it still isn't working."
"Well Cas, I don't know what to say. It takes time so I do-"
"Christian just stop saying that fuck!" I yelled and left the room. I let my emotions get the best of me and probably just started a fight.
I grabbed the kids and we walked down the stairs holding each other's hands. Christian came down a few minutes later. He wrapped his arms around me as I started getting the kids food ready. "Hey don't get mad. I love you Cas. I know you're very frustrated with this but I want you to know I am too. We are going through this together."
"I know Christian and I'm sorry for getting mad at you. But it's hard trying for four months straight and getting no result."
"Hey, when it's meant to be, it will be." Christian kissed my cheek and then took over and got the kids food and started feeding them.
After we ate breakfast, Christian had to leave for his game.
Christian's POV
After the game, I was not in the best mood. I had a horrible game and I honestly didn't want my family to see me like this but we were riding in the same car so it was not avoidable.
As we got stuck in traffic leaving the stadium, Mason called me, "Dada."
"What's up bud?" I asked and turned my head so I could see him. Cassie did the same.
"Mama say you were bad today." Cassie's eyes went wide.
"Seriously Cassie?" I asked and looked at her.
"Did not," She said and then I looked at Noah in the mirror. So far, Noah never lied.
"Did your mom say that?" He nodded his head and I looked at her again.
"Did I lie though?" She asked and I scoffed at her.
"Cas you know I've been struggling and you're making me feel horrible."
"Hey I'm sorry," She said and leaned over and kissed my cheek. "I'm really really sorry. What can I do to make it up to you?"
"Not say that shit again," I said and looked at her.
"Okay, I got you. Anything else I can do for you?"
"Make me a really good dinner and dessert." She smiled and nodded.
"Alright, I can definitely do that. Anything else I can do?"
"Cas is there something you want to do?" I asked while laughing. She shrugged and then I grabbed her thigh.
"Maybe have a cup of coffee and sit out in the backyard and watch a movie, without my mini Christian's."
"Yes we can. I'll do anything you want me to baby." She just leaned in and kissed me again.
"Ewww," Both of the boys said and we laughed. She kissed all over my face and then the boys started screaming.
"Stop it!" I yelled and they stopped. Cassie just laughed at everything. "Now what do you boys want to watch?" They didn't answer me. "Okay you guys are watching Mickey Mouse then." I put it on so hopefully they would fall asleep on our drive home. I was right and they did fall asleep.
"So our flight is in the morning at eight and our flight back is at ten tomorrow night."
"Damn you already got everything situated?" I nodded. "I love that about you, I do everything so last minute."
"This is something that sorta is last minute. So I was thinking we can write a check to Liam?"
"How much were you thinking? And I was thinking about adding a bunch of Under Armour clothes since that's what UCLA's sponsored by. And we can take him out to dinner."
"Woah that's a lot," I said with a laugh, "But maybe ten, twenty?"
"Thousand?"
"Yes why not, you love this kid like he's your own and he loves you and me both. Are you fine with that?"
"Yes we could do that. I really would take him in as my own. Even though he was very nosey ever since we got together, I love him a lot."
"That's why you love him, he's nosey like you."
"Shut it Yelich." We talked the rest of the way home and when we got home I woke the kids up so they would sleep when Cassie and I wanted to spend some time together.
I fed the boys and then watched Cassie cook and bake. "You know, you look very sexy babe."
"Do I now?" She turned and looked at me and I nodded. "You make me fall in love with you more and more every single day Christian."
I couldn't help but smile because she made me so happy. After she finished cooking, she served me my food. "Are you two ready for bed?" I asked the kids and they nodded. We put them to sleep and then I went downstairs and seen Cassie making us coffee and getting everything ready.
I wrapped my arms around her and she smiled. "I have to tell you something," She said and turned her head, "I have to fart."
"Cassie!" I yelled as she farted. I ran out of the kitchen.
"Hey you fart all the time. And I've finally gotten comfortable enough to fart in front of you so don't judge."
"That's like pregnancy fart level though."
"I could say a bunch of stuff about your farts so don't start," She said and then grabbed everything and went outside. I followed her out and I grabbed the remote and turned on the TV.
"What do you want to watch?"
"The Nun," She said and handed me some of the desserts she made. When we finished the movie, we packed our bags quickly and then laid in bed. Cassie cuddled up to me a lot more than usual.
"You alright?" I asked with a chuckle.
"I'm scared," She said and looked in my eyes.
"Cassie we shouldn't have watched that then. Now you're going to be up all night stressing out."
"No I promise I won't." I set my phone down and kissed her. "Okay I can't promise."
"It's fine. If you need me to wake up to check under the bed for monsters, I will." I laughed and she hit my chest. She turned the other way and didn't speak for the rest of the night.
