"If you love her Kya, then be with her. I don't care anymore, do what you want, but I'm tired of your manipulative shit! So stay the hell out of my life and stop popping in when it's convenient for you! ", I belt, jabbing my finger into her chest.
The younger woman stands stiff, unable to come to terms with my demands. I watch her through narrowed eyes, waiting for a response or for her to leave. But she doesn't, instead she lifts a hand up to the one pointed at her chest. She lowers it and holds it tight, tugging me closer to her.
"I love you and I made a mistake. I'm ready to settle down now, I want to start a life and family with you. I'm just scared I'll mess up again.", she admits, speaking in a watery tone.
Her tempting eyes meet mine, determined to fix her mistakes and stay true to her promise. But I see through her lies, she loves me, but she loves Lin more, and I'm not setting myself up to be hurt again.
"Go fuck yourself.", I whisper while shoving her away from me.
"Get the hell out of my apartment. I'm not telling you twice, I'm done with all your baggage.", my lips quiver as I talk.
My chest constricts uncomfortably, pain building up as I attempt to kick her out of my life for good.
Her eyes glass over, reaching out for me again,"I mean it this time and I'll prove it to you. I'm here for good and I choose you, I'll choose you every time, every day..."
I bat her hand away, backing up to the kitchen wall and blindly grabbing for any type of weapon. My intentions aren't to hurt her, but I'm desperate to get her to leave. If I have to pretend to be crazy then so be it.
She follows my movements gasping inaudibly as I point a sharp knife at her.
"Get the hell out Kya! I won't tell you again!", I shout one final time, aiming the metal utensil in her direction.
She backs away from me slowly, hands up in surrender.
In a split second the knife flies from my hand and embeds itself deep into the corresponding wall. Water pools by my feet, soaking my white socks to a dark gray. The younger woman steps forward again, using the same water to chaining my wrists and ankles together with ice. My body falls against the cabinets behind me, losing balance due to her trick.
" I love you." she announces, enunciating every word with passion and promise.
"Fuck off.", I fire back.
My heart hammers against my chest and rib cage, sending a vibrating sensation throughout my body.
Kya walks up to me, placing an affectionate hand to the side of my face, "I love you, I love you, I love you. I'm never leaving you again, you just wait and see. That's my oath to you starting now to forever and always."
Her lips press against mine, hands griping at my chained ones. Unable to contain my body's reaction to her touch, a low hum lips past my my lips and onto hers.
My mind goes blank, completely lost in her intoxicating taste and hold.
With one swift flick of her hand, the ice around my ankles and wrists melt, gliding back into her pouch. She slides her arms under my bum, lifting me up and setting me down on top of the kitchen counter. I wrap my legs around her waist, pulling away from the kiss to catch my breathe, only to be captured by her promising kiss a few seconds later. Our hands wonder, slipping beneath shirts and down pants.
Looks like I've lost again, by the time the sun peaks over the tall mountains, she'll be gone. Possibly off visiting another lover of hers.
