Nobody asked for this, but I was bored. I'm probably gonna delete this.

I feel like the sky is falling like the clouds are drifting to the ground and suffocating me. My chest squeezes, pinching my heart as I back from the Kyoshi Warrior.

"What?" I ask, eyes shifting from her face to the sky and the ground again as I attempt to hide how my eyes begin to gloss with tears. What if the Fire Nation kills her?

She reaches out for me, her gloved hands zoning towards my hands. I let her grip them, but my hands lay limp in her hold.

"Look at me," she begins, but I refuse to let her see my tears, so I keep them directed to the ground. "Please," she whispers, her head reeling back in pain.

"Why do you make things so hard?" she asks, her voice soft and contemplative.

I snatch my hands from hers and curl them to my chest.

"How do I make things hard? You want to help save the world. Go ahead. Why would I stop you? I'm proud of you. I really am," I express, unfolding my arms after glancing at her expression: eyebrows pinch together, and hands interlaced over her chest. "But, I can't help feeling sad. I'll miss you, and I'm scared you'll get hurt. What's wrong with that? You're my girlfriend."

Her shoulders sink, physically wounded by words, before she practically lunges me into a hug.

"Baby, I didn't mean it like that," Suki admits, holding me tight by my waist, "I'm gonna miss you so much."

So what does she mean? I don't know, but I'm not too worried about it. I want to spend my last moments with Suki, where she looks healthy and is safe in my arms.

I return her hug, grasping desperately at her toned back, "Why can't I just join you guys?"

She sighs, "Aiko, you can't fight. I will not risk you getting hurt at all." Suki pulls away briefly to cup my cheek with her glove, "You're one of the reasons I want to do this. Aang inspired me. I want us to grow old together in a world safe for us and our future family."

My lips instantly curl into a grin, "You want kids?"

Oh, that sounds like a dream: wedded to Suki. My heart merely flutters at the thought. She's so great with kids too. She often plays kickball with some of the kids on the island. They all look up to her, especially the girls. I love it. She'll teach our girls independence and strength.

"Yes. We'll adopt or figure something else out," Suki matches my grin. We meet each other's joyful eyes. She's so beautiful. Merely looking into her bright eyes makes me giddy.

I assume Suki feels the same because she leans over, planting her lips all over my cheek. Each peck is like a ray of sunshine. Her force sends me leaning back as well. The only thing keeping me from falling is her strong hand.

"I'm gonna miss you so much," she squeezes me to her chest, nuzzling her cheek against my head.

"Miss you too. I love you," I whisper.

"Love you too," she grins, pressing her lips against mine.

I narrowly hold back a squeak as I melt into her affection. Spirits, I'm obsessed with this girl.

She giggles, tapping the tip of my nose as she pulls away.

Just like that, she walks down to the shore with her Warriors. The setting sun hovers over the horizon as the trained group loads their ship in uniform. With the memory of a pink sky, I impatiently wait for my girlfriend's undated return.

Months passed, and I'm worried. Suki promised to send letters but stopped after the first few months.
