"Moti kya hua?", he asked as he stood beside her. She looked at him and smiled softly, her heart breaking into million little pieces seeing his happy face.

"Kuch bhi toh nhi!", she answered and looked at the stars again.

"Mujhe pta hai tujhe kya hua hai, bol de please ek baar. Ye sab khatam kar dunga mein!", he thought to himself.

"Abb toh chahke bhi nhi bol sakti mein Sidharth. You have a fiancé, aur aaj se nhi, BB ke pehle se! You didn't even let me know?", she thought to herself.

"Mujhe pta hai tujhe Lagg ra gai ki BB se pehle se kaise ho sakti hai, par tujhe yakeen dilana tha naa toh bolna padha!", Sidharth thought.

"You basically told me today that how worthless were the things between us! Hum dono ke beech jo tha uska koi Matlab nhi!", she looked at him and thought.

"Jo hum dono ke beech hai, usse zaruri aur kuch bhi nhi, aur bass isiliye mein chahta hun ki tu bhi ye Maan Le!", he looked at her as well.

"I though I was special for you, but I guess that I wasn't the one for you after all!", she conveyed through her eyes.

"You mean so much to me, I just hope that you understand that I am the one for you!", he thought as if replying to her.

They both looked away almost instantly when the intensity became unbearable. "Bol naa moti, itni shaant kyun hai?", he asked.

"Shaant nhi hun, bass soch rahi hun ki mein kitni sahi thi!", Shehnaaz said as she chuckled.

"Matlab?", he asked, not being able to understand what did she mean.

"Mtlb I was so right about people being temporary! Stars ko dekh rahi hun kyunki wo aaj bhi pehle jaise hain!", she said as she leaned on the ceiling.

"Kaun badal gya, who is temporary?", Sidharth asked. He knew what she was talking about and he was hurting too, but he couldn't show it.

"Wo meri ek friend hai, abhi abhi bani hai kuch din pehle. Bass wo jiss se pyaar karti thi, use laga wo bhi usse pyaar karta hai. Par use pta chala ki wo kisi aur se shaadi kar ra hai!", Shehnaaz said.

"Aisa kyun? Agar wo ladka bhi usse pyaar karta hai, toh wo nhi karega shaadi!", Sidharth said.

"Wahi toh! Agar pyaar karta hoga toh nhi karega, par agar pyaar kabhi tha hi nhi, toh shaadi karne mein koi problem bhi nhi!", Shehnaaz said.

"That's where you are wrong!", Sidharth said as he smiled.

"Huh?", Shehnaaz asked in confusion.

"Ye jo dil hota hai na...", Sidharth said as he made her turn towards her and kept a hand on her heart.

"...Ye kabhi galat nhi batata. Agar Teri friend ko Lagg ra hai ki wo ladka usse pyaar karta hai, toh definitely karta hai. Dil jhoot nhi bolta!", he explained.

"Fir shaadi kyun kar ra hai Sidharth?", she asked. Although, she was using her imaginary friend to voice out her doubts, but this question pierced right through his heart.

He looked at her, she was serious. It seemed like she was questioning him, about why was he marrying. Sidharth gulped, having no answer to what she was asking.

"Kya pta isiliye kyunki teri friend ne use btaya nhi hai ki wo usse pyaar karti hai!", Sidharth said.

"Par pyaar bolne se nhi hota, dikhane se hota hai. Aur agar wo dikha rahi hai toh, use bolne ki zarurat nhi!", Shehnaaz explained, hoping he understands.

"Sahi bol rahi hai tu, par kabhi kabhi bolna zaruri hota hai. Atleast ek baar toh bolna hi padta hai, so that you can actually assure that person!
