~ Tommys pov ~

I arrived at my form class and sat next to Mr. Eret who greeted me with a smile before he informed me that I had to stay inside at break because of the fight yesterday which I wasn't very happy about.

"What the fuck!" I yell making the class turn to me as well as Mr. Taylor.

"Everything alright there Tommy?" He asks.

"No it's not" I stand up leaving the room, I hear Mr. Eret apologise for me before following after me "Can you just piss off?"

"Tommy stop with the attitude please and come back to class"

"No this is just bollocks! I didn't do anything wrong yesterday yet I still get the blame! Why can't any of you see that he attacked me? Not him! Me, he attacked me, I was defending myself it's not my fault he can't throw a punch for his life"

"I know it's not your fau-"

"So why am I getting my breaks taken away from me for something that wasn't my fault?!"

I felt someone behind me before they spoke up "What's going on here?" I don't know who he was but he had a very deep voice.

"Oh nothing!" I smiled falsely "Just me getting the blame for something that I didn't do" I dropped my 'smile'

"What's your name young man?"

"Tommy or Tom, I don't really mind"

"You're Phils new child aren't you?"

"Yeah sort of not really his child just someone who he's looking after for a while I guess"

"Would you like to come to my office Tommy?"

"Sure" I shrug "Better than going to RE"

He laughed "Follow me"

I didn't know who this man was but he seemed alright, he led me to his office which was up some stairs away from class rooms, as we made it to the office door it had a sign on it that read 'Mr. Higgins. Headteacher'.

And then it all clicked, he is the headteacher and I'm probably going to get in trouble. Great.

"Have a seat Tommy" He smiled pointing to the couch.

I threw my bag of my shoulder and onto the space next to me on the couch while exhaling.

"Would you like a drink?"

I shake my head "No, I'm fine thanks"

"Alright" He nodded "How are you liking it here so far? You can tell the truth by the way, I know it's my school but say what you like"

"I dunno" I shrug "I've only been here two full days and so far it's been awful"

"Where have you been the other four days?"

"I got suspended on Tuesday until yesterday"

"Oh I saw you on the system, didn't realise you were living with Phil" He sighs "So what was going on in the corridor just then?"

"For some reason I have to stay in at break after a fight yesterday even though it wasn't my fault"

"So you're the one who gave Jake the bruised eye and nose bleed yesterday?"

"Yeah, but he went for me first, I thought we were friends but then he came over and wanted to fight me, I wasn't gonna stand there and let him hit me so I had to fight back but I got a little bit too angry I think"

"So what's happened now? I'm a little out of the loop"

"They are making me stay inside at lunch, it's not fair even Techno said so!"

"I agree, I'll go speak to your head of year about it" He nods in agreement "Mrs. Moore isn't it?"

"Yeah"
