Loud cheers and screams of joy, people talking and the rides of the roller coasters with the wheels scraping through the metal tracks can be heard from the entrance. Chase and Skye were second in line to get their tickets for the carnival.

"You're paying." Chase stated and Skye glanced at Chase with a bit of a surprised look on her face but she didn't argue back as if she thought it was a payment for, technically, forcing him to go on a date.

The people in front of them got their tickets and Chase and Skye were up. Just then, when they walked up, they saw a male Rottweiler at the counter which surprised the two of them.

"Uh, where is the cashier?" Skye asked.

"My owner needed to use the restroom and left me in charge." The Rottweiler said and smirked at Skye.

"You know, I can't make a pretty pup like you pay. I'll let you in for free." He said with a wink at the small Cockapoo which made her lightly blush and earned a confused but also a slight glare from Chase.

"Thanks. That's sweet." Skye thanked with a cheerful smile and walked past him, having the Rottweiler's eyes follow her backside. He then looked back at Chase.

"Okay, now you need to pay." He said and Chase gave him a confused look.

"Hold up, I'm her friend," Chase mentally cringed when he said that, "Why did you only let her in for free?" Chase asked and the Rottweiler deadpanned at him.

"Dude, she's a pretty pup. I can't make a pup that beautiful pay up." He happily shrugged. This guy is way too attentive and submissive. Chase thought with a sweat dropping down his cheek.

"Besides, to be honest, you don't seem like the true one for her." He responded and Skye, who listened to the conversation, frowned at that comment.

"Besides, maybe me and her might have a future together soon enough." He chuckled as he looked back and looked at Skye who was watching the exchange between the two. Needless to say, it was nice that he was being nice to her, but she didn't like the way he spoke to Chase.

"Sorry, but he's actually my date." Skye quickly said which made Chase and the Rottweiler look at her in shock.

"What?" Both of them asked at the same time and both watched as the Cockapoo walked next to the German Shepherd and stood close to him, close enough to where her fur was touching Chase's hoodie and wrapped her right paw around Chase's left leg and pulled him closer.

"Thanks for the offer, we'll both enjoy our date now." Skye said with a cheerful smile and walked past the Rottweiler along with Chase being pulled by her.

"Uh...I...wait...I..." The Rottweiler was left speechless but didn't make an effort to stop her.

Chase looked back from the Rottweiler back to Skye with a surprised look on his face. Even though he wasn't a fan of what excuse Skye used, he didn't complain about it either.

"T-Thanks, I guess." Chase thanked and Skye stopped and removed her paw around Chase's leg and looked up at him with a huge grin on her face.

"No problem." She said and looked around the carnival along with Chase.

"So, what do you wanna do?" Chase asked.

"Well, let's go play some games." She said and pointed to where Chase followed her paw that pointed at some stands of carnival games. Chase knew that saying no was next to impossible, so he shrugged.

"Alright." He sighed and Skye smiled and both began walking towards one stand.
