The next day has arrived, but it wasn't an ordinary day, it was Thanksgiving! The pups have begun waking up, Marshall being the first one up.

"Happy Thanksgiving everyone!" Marshall greeted first, having the rest of the pups wake up.

"Happy Thanksgiving!" They all said between yawns and rubbed their eyes and smiled at each other, just then, Ryder walked in.

"Happy Thanksgiving pups!" Ryder greeted all of them.

"Ryder!" Everyone yelled out and ran towards the boy and tackled him with hugs and licks. Ryder laughed as he hugged his pups back, but now, he was able to stand up again.

"Happy Thanksgiving, Ryder!" All of them said with grins on their faces. Ryder laughed along with the other pups.

"Anyways, are you guys ready to go to the festival?" Ryder asked and everyone began wagging their tails with their tongues sticking out as they all barked together, making Ryder laugh once again.

"Alright guys, let's head to the Paw Patroller. We won't want to miss out on the festival." Ryder said and everyone cheered as they began heading down to the Paw Patroller. They went inside and began driving through the city.

After about a few minutes of driving, and a couple of minutes finding a parking space, Ryder and the pups finally arrived at the festival.

They drove to a large park in Adventure City with buildings near it and the ocean on the other side. When they got out of the Paw Patroller, they all looked around. The main festival was taking place in the streets, but a lot of it also took place in the park.

A few people had picnics, large crowds of people around, selling treats or other food. Families were playing Thanksgiving games like Pumpkin Checkers or scavengers hunts. Chase looked ahead to see large balloons of turkeys flying up in the air.

The pups looked at the scenery in amazement as it was still early in the day and lots of people had already arrived at the festival.

"This is amazing!" Rusty said.

"Yeah, look at all the people." Dallas pointed out.

"Alright guys, go spend some time at the festival, we'll meet back here around six." Ryder stated and all of them nodded at him and each pup went their separate ways with their parents, the only ones left behind were Chase, Marshall, Edan and Kushina.

"C'mon Mom and Dad, let's see what we can do here!" Marshall said in an excited tone.

"Hang on a sec, Marshall." Kushina said, quickly making Marshall stop and turned to her and watched as his mother faced Chase.

"You wanna join us, Chase?" She asked. That question surprised Marshall, but then he looked behind Chase and noticed that Chase's parents weren't there which surprised Marshall, but also saddened him. His parents didn't even come for Thanksgiving? Marshall sadly thought. He remembered Chase telling him and the rest of the pups that his parents would usually be at work and they couldn't visit him. But on holidays? That's really surprising.

Now he understood why Kushina asked, just then, Marshall saw his father turning to the surprised Chase. Obviously, he didn't expect that kind of question.

"U-Uh, w-what?" Chase stuttered at the question.

"You heard, you wanna join us?" Edan asked this time with a smile of his own.

"I-I mean, I'd like to...but you should really just spend this time with...with your family." Chase politely denied, feeling like he was intruding. But this time, Marshall stepped up.
