I chatted amiably away to Liz as he told me how proud she was of Luke. I nodded along, feeling the pride swell within myself too. He'd come so far with the lads and I couldn't be prouder.

I glanced over to the lads, and they stood huddled together, they bodies almost touching, as they laughed and chatted away.

They were inseparable. Even on their days off they managed to meet up and hang out still. They usually did this with family and I loved they the four families were all so close. It was sweet.

Luke caught my eye, as I watched them and winked. I smiled, before turning my attention back to Liz.

I felt a hand grasp my upper arm and hissed slightly, as I recognised that touch. I would recognise that touch anywhere.

The blood coursed through my veins and my heart raced rapidly, at his hot touch. I looked up at him, to catch him grinning, showing his perfect white teeth and his little dimples.

He leaned closer to me, his hot breath fanning against the shell of my ear and my cheek. I shivered.

"Come with me. I want to show you something," he said.

His breath was deep and husky and made me weak.

"Okay," I croaked.

I followed him, his hand holding mine tightly, as I waved back to Liz.

He pulled me along beside him, leading me out of his garden and along a trail that lead into a wooded area.

I glanced back at his house, as it distanced itself, to the point of evaporating completely.

"Not much further now," he said.

I snapped my head back at the sound of his voice.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

I picked up the pace so I was beside him, rather than lugging behind like a child.

"It's a secret, babe. Just wait and see," he teased.

I sighed and followed quietly beside him.

We finally reached a little clearing, deep within the woods. It was completely quiet and deserted but absolutely beautiful.

"Oh my god!" I gasped. I let go of his hand and strolled further in.

Littered across the ground was clusters of flowers. Trees stood tall at each corner of the squared off field, creating the walls of the place. I walked further, allowing my legs to carry me forward in exploration.

At the end of the field, past the biggest of the trees, was a lake. The sun bounced off the top of water, creating glistening beams of light.

I gasped. The beauty of the place was immense. But what was this place? And why had he brought me here?

I turned back to him and he was grinning as he watched me take it all in. "Do you like it?" he asked nervously.

I nodded my head vigorously and smiled. "I love it Luke. It's magnificent. It's breathtaking!" I gushed.

I moved back to him and as I moved I watched as his eyes filled with love. And I knew mine were filled with the same thing.

"The view I have right now is breathtaking," he muttered.

He watched me move, his teeth coming down to bite lightly on his bottom lip.

"Luke," I whined. "I told you, you can't so that.
