YOUR POV

Entering the hallway of the school, I noticed immediately that students are keeping their distance from Ashton.

His obvious bad boy persona just radiates and intimidates every person he passes.

I watch his departing figure as he turns and heads towards whichever class he has first.

My insides are churning as I wonder if I will have any classes with him.

I didn't get a chance to speak to him much last year, and last year was his first year at the school.

Granted, he wasn't actually in my year, he was a year older, but I expected to at least speak to him once, in passing.

He kept to himself a lot last year and didn't have a car.

He just watched around in his band shirts and black jeans, a backpack on his back.

So the transformation he had made was big and quite shocking.

I head to my locker trying to rid myself of all thoughts on Ashton Irwin.

I open my locker door and pull out the books in my bag, stashing them inside.

As I zip up my bag, a hand presses against my locker door and slams it shut.

I gasp, jumping at the loud sound and a giggle is heard beside me.

I look up with a frown to see my best friend Haley stood beside me.

"Jesus Haley. Do you have to do that every morning?" I scold.

"I dunno Y/N. Do you have to get scared by it every morning?" she teases, poking my side.

I move away from her poking and she giggles as she hooks her arm through mine.

"Did you see that old black mustang outside? I have never see that car before. I wonder whose it is," she said as we walked towards our first class.

"Yeah. I saw who go out of it but you'll never guess who is back," I replied.

She stopped just short of the classroom door, pulling me to a stop.

I turned to face her, seeing her eyes wide as she awaited the gossip I withheld.

I laughed at her reaction, and opened my mouth to speak, but was cut short.

Strolling towards us was none other than Ashton Irwin.

I froze, my mouth hanging open and Haley glanced behind her to see who I was staring at.

Her mouth in turn dropped and her arm, linked in mine, dropped to her side.

He stopped just in the door entrance, his hand coming up to his hat and he pulled it slightly off his head.

He tipped his hat at us, with a nod and smiled, his dimples popping out.

"Morning," he drawled, his deep voice resonating through the empty hallway.

He placed his hat back on his head and strutted into the classroom.

"Oh. My. God." Haley whispered.

She span around to face me, her finger pointing towards the open door way.

Her mouth was moving as she tried to speak, but no words came out.

"I know," I said quietly.

He was in our class!
