YOUR POV

"You should go. I need to speak to my dad anyway. I need to make a few things clearer with him," I explained.

It was due time that I had the talk with my dad, about Calum and I.

I didn't want there to be any negativity between the two of them.

I loved Calum so much and he was my everything.

He was the reason I breathed, the reason I lived.

He was the reason that I smiled and was happy.

He was my only reason for waking up each day.

Without him I had nothing.

Without him I was empty.

I needed my dad to understand that and I wanted him to respect my choices.

I was 17 now and almost an adult, with my 18th birthday fast approaching.

I wanted my dad to love Calum as much as I did.

I didn't have a brother, so my dad didn't have a son.

He had no one to share sports with or cars, and I wanted him to have that.

Calum could be that.

He was a car fanatic, and he loved anything sports.

They'd be a great pair.

"Are you sure?" he asked.

He watched me for any signs of uncertainty but I nodded knowing I had to do this.

"I'm positive. You go. I'll drive back home. Call me later okay," I said.

"I always do," he promised, as he kissed my lips.

I left his house and climbed into my car.

I drove off and once I was far enough away from his house, I pulled up at the side of the road.

I began contemplating what I could say to my dad and how to say it.

I needed him to understand Calum was my forever and he wasn't going anywhere.

My phone buzzed as I began thinking.

Calum had already text me.

I smiled at his text.

I could do this.

* YOU & CALUM *

Calum: Good luck with the talk with your dad baby. You'll be fine and he'll listen. It may take some convincing but remember this, you are my forever angel. I'm in this for the long run, I'm never leaving you. You're my whole world Y/N. I plan on marrying you someday in the future and having babies with the girl I love. I love you more than life itself and I'll always protect you. I'll see you later baby. I'll call you💗

CALUMS POV

I arrived at the house and pulled into the drive.

The sold sign made me fucking happy and proud.

This was all mine.

I climbed out of the car and my phone buzzed.

My heart stopped as I thought of what may have happened with Y/N and her dad.

After she'd told me what she was planning, I'd be on edge.

And I wouldn't be calm until she called and told me it went fine.

When I saw Ashton's name on the screen I let out the breath I didn't even know I was holding.

Ashton: We're on our way. Sorry we're a little late. We will be there soon

Calum: It's alright. I've only just got here myself

CALUMS POV

I text him back then shoved my phone back in my pocket.

I dug the keys out of my other pocket and went to the door.

Unlocking it and pushing it open, my mouth pulled up into a big grin.

This was my home, my house.

And soon it would not only be my house but Y/N's too.

I knew I had to prepare for her saying no, but even if she did, I'd still have a house for the future.

And I couldn't wait for it to start.

She was my whole world and I couldn't imagine living without her.

I loved her more than anything, she was my reason for breathing.

I stepped into the hallway, and my eyes darted back and forth as I thought of all the memories we could have here.

The house itself had three bedrooms, one for us and the two extras for our children.

I was thinking so far ahead but I didn't care, I wanted to be ready for when the time came.

I just hoped she'd love the house as much as I did.

I stepped into the living room and my smile got even bigger if possible.

The cream coloured sofa looked comfortable and I could imagine us curled up watching films.

I moved to the kitchen and imagined us cooking together like we did when she came to my house, well my mums house now.

This was my house.

Mine.

Ours.

"So we need to finish decorating your bedroom then we're done right?" Ashton asked.

He wiped his brow with the back of his hand, the sweat dripping down his face.

"Yeah, just a little more pasting and wallpapering and we're finished," I said.

"Thank fuck," Michael sighed. "I am hungry!"

"Yeah, where's this pizza we ordered?" Luke asked.

"We ordered it five minutes ago Luke. It takes at least half an hour," Ashton laughed.

"Less chatting more pasting," I ordered.

Michael groaned as he slapped the brush in the paste pot and began slathering the paper in paste.

Ashton whacked some paper on the wall and Luke continued cutting pieces off the roll of paper.

I checked my phone again and she hadn't called or text.

I was getting worried.
