PART 3

I grabbed a slice of pizza, putting it on my mountain of food and carried my plate back to the table.

Jenny and Caitlin were already seated and digging into their food.

I sat beside Caitlin and picked up my knife and fork.

"So, how are things with Michael?" Jenny giggled.

Jenny was the only one of us who didn't have a boyfriend.

Sure, she'd had the odd relationship, but so far no serious ones.

We'd been trying to set her up but she'd told us she wanted fate to set her up.

So we'd ended the matchmaking and put away our cupids arrows.

"Great," I smiled. "I'm seeing him again in a week."

"Aw, that's great. I bet you're so excited to see him again," Jenny said.

I picked up my fork, popping a piece of chicken into my mouth and chewed.

I swallowed the food and looked back at Jenny.

"Yeah, I can't wait to see him. I've missed him," I pouted.

"Awe!" she gushed. "You guys are super cute! I bet you'll be cuddling and kissing loads when you see one another."

"And having sex. You won't be leaving the bedroom," Caitlin purred, waggling her eyebrows.

"Caitlin!" Jenny and I gasped in unison.

Our mouths dropped as blushes crept up our cheeks and we glanced around hoping no one heard her.

Caitlin just threw her head back and laughed loudly, receiving a few stares.

"Seriously guys, all I said was sex," she giggled.

"Yeah, but it was the fact you implicated Michael and I, having sex," I said, whispering the last two words.

She laughed again, and took a piece of my hair curling it around her finger.

"Oh Y/N," she said, shaking her head. "You need to stop being so embarrassed about sex. It's a part of life."

"I'm not embarrassed," I lied.

It wasn't that I was embarrassed, I just wasn't as comfortable as Caitlin talking about my sex life.

I felt it was a private matter, a personal thing and I didn't feel comfortable sharing stories.

It was like we were comparing partners.

"Oh sure. You're not getting red in the face just thinking of it right," Caitlin mocked.

"Not everyone is as comfortable as you talking about their sex life," Jenny defended me.

Caitlin just tossed her hair over her shoulder, waving us off and continued to eat.

"When are you two going to get married?" Jenny asked, her face lighting up with excitement.

"Oh god, not anytime soon," I laughed. "I'm only 20!"

"20 isn't that young," Caitlin chipped in.

"I won't be getting married yet," I told them. "And anyway, I don't know whether he wants to marry me."

"Are you kidding!?" Jenny yelled. "He definitely wants to marry you. It's clear when he's with you! He can't take his eyes off of you."

I smiled as I thought of Michael, and how much he honestly meant to me.

Only one more week and I would finally see him again.

I turned to Caitlin, ready to ask the dreaded, but polite question.

How was Tim?

"How's things with Tim? You guys found a house yet?" I asked.

I took a sip of my drink as a grin spread across her face.

She put down her fork, wiped her hands on her napkin, and looked at me.

"Not yet, but we're still looking. Everything is amazing with us. We're really happy," she gushed.

Although I hated the guy, I had to admit I'd never seen her happier.

And I was happy to see her smiling.
