ASHTONS POV

I'd already seen Harry before they had got here and he didn't look too good.

He'd been on the edge of his seat, waiting for her to arrive.

And if I knew Y/N at all, and I did, she would have agreed to come see him once she got here.

That meant that I had to keep a close eye on Calum and make sure she snuck away unseen and that he didn't know about her little secret.

When I saw her moving from the spot she'd told Calum she'd stay in, I followed.

I knew Calum would get insanely jealous and her decision was a bad one.

He'd notice something was off when she came back to him late and didn't stay by his side.

I didn't know how she'd manage to sneak off unseen, as he'd be watching her like a goddamn hawk.

But I wanted to help her.

She really liked Harry, he was one of her best friends.

I knew he liked her in a completely different way, a very similar way to Calum.

I just wasn't sure how strong those feelings were.

As she neared the kitchen area, I raced forward and grabbed her arm, turning her around.

"Are you going to see him now?" I asked, searching her eyes for signs of lies.

"What?" she said, clearly surprised at my sudden outburst.

"I know you're going to see Harry sometime tonight. And I want to avoid any confrontations," I told her.

She sighed, and I loosened my grip on her arm.

Her head dropped and she crossed her arms over her chest.

"I promised him I'd see him," she said sadly.

"Just give me a heads up when you're going so I can keep an eye on Calum," I pleaded with her.

"Of course," she promised.

I nodded and she smiled before turning and walking away.

I watched her until she bumped into Calum and let out a sigh of relief that she'd found him.
