* You meet in a coffee shop *

* Y/N stands for your name *

I walked into my regular coffee shop and jumped into the queue.

I looked down at my hands, the money lay in my palm and I counted it one last time.

I had just enough with a little extra, in case I wanted anything else.

The girl before me moved to the till and she ordered her drink.

"I'm sorry, I don't have enough," I heard her whisper.

I looked up and was suddenly knocked back by just how beautiful she was.

Her cheeks tinged pink slightly as she looked down at the money on the counter, a frown taking up her pretty little lips.

"I'm sorry we can't serve you unless you have the correct amount of money," the man behind the till said, impatiently.

She sighed, as she began to step back and head for the door.

"Hey, that's okay, I have some spare," I said, moving quickly to her side.

I placed a few coins on the counter and pushed them over to the man behind the till.

"You don't need to do that," she mumbled, smiling sadly.

"No, I don't need to," I confirmed. "But I want to."

She finally smiled genuinely and took the drink awaiting her.

"Thank you," she said.

I smiled as I ordered my drink, becoming slightly impatient when it took longer than normal.

She exited the shop and I cursed, annoyed that I'd missed her.

I raced out, once my drink was ordered and just managed to catch up to her.

"Hey," I breathed, as I jogged up to her.

"Erm... Hi," she replied.

What did I say now?

"I er..... I'm, I..." I stuttered.

I scratched the back of my neck, my eyes shifting down to the ground.

"Yes?" she asked.

I laughed nervously.

"Could I maybe like, you know, get your number maybe?" I asked, with a light chuckle.

She smiled as she nodded in agreement.

"Sure," she replied, as she handed me her phone.

I handed her mine and we swapped numbers.

"And should I be expecting a call or a text maybe?" she enquired, a smile spreading across her face.

I stared back at her, her beautiful smile causing a cheesy smile of mine to surface.

"A call," I confirmed. "And then maybe a date?"

"I'd like that," she answered.

We said our goodbyes, and I promised her I'd call.

I couldn't wait for our date.
