YOUR POV
I stepped out of the lifts and walked straight ahead, towards the double doors.
I quietly made my way inside the big open spaced room and smiled at the woman behind the desk.
"Is he here?" I asked her, quietly.
She nodded and pointed to the very back of the room, where his little hiding place was located.
He had brought me up here when we were paired up for the project.
I didn't even know this place existed.
I mean, I'd been up here multiple times to use the computers and occasionally borrow some books.
But he'd seemed to find a place of his own which was very secluded and very hidden.
It was a great place to study, or for some down time, but to socialise?
It wasn't the best place, but it was his space and I respected that.
As I neared the little closed in space, I heard movement and knew I'd located him.
"Hey Harry. I hope you don't mind that I just - "
I stopped mid sentence when I stepped into his little space.
He wasn't alone in his alcove and I felt my heart race when I came face to face with those hazel eyes again.
"Oh I'm sorry," I whispered, backing away.
Harry stood with a grin on his pink lips and reached for me, tugging me back.
"No! Don't leave Y/N, please," he begged.
His eyes looked sad and his grin from before had wiped away.
I felt guilty.
"This is my new friend," he said, motioning behind him.
"I believe we may have already met," Ashton chuckled, holding out his hand.
My gaze moved from his curious eyes to his outstretched hand and I gasped.
Twisted around his large hand was a white bandage, with dabs of blood splattered on it.
"What happened?" I gasped.
He tutted, pulling his hand back and stepped back behind Harry.
His face fell and he looked angry suddenly.
Harry chuckled, cupping his hand around his mouth and leaned towards me.
"He got a little angry. But we're not telling anyone," he whispered, his eyes darting back and forth.
He winked at me and stepped back, skipping to the sofas in the corner.
He looked up at me and patted the empty seat beside him.
"Are you staying?" he asked, looking hopeful.
I nodded and cautiously stepped around Ashton to sit beside Harry.
I dropped my bag by my feet and got comfortable beside him.
"Were they mad you left them?" Harry asked, sounding sad.
I touched his arm and gave it a squeeze, shaking my head.
"Who?" Ashton questioned.
I looked back to see he'd stepped closer, his eyebrows pulled together.
"Y/N's friends. They don't like me," Harry said, frowning.
"Who?" Ashton repeated, his jaw clenching.
What was his problem?
His attitude and mood had completed shifted, changing from welcoming to cold in seconds.
"Dylan West and his group," Harry sighed.
His finger moved to the bridge of his nose, instinctively pushing his glasses up but they weren't there.
He blinked a couple of times and I wondered where they were.
"What happened to your glasses?" I asked, pointed to his eyes.
He looked down at his hands as they wrung together nervously.
He shrugged but didn't answer.
"Harry?" I asked again.
I leaned towards him.
"You're friends broke them," Ashton said through clenched teeth.
"They didn't mean it," Harry defended them, shaking his head vigourously.
I'd known about Dylan and his friends beating on Harry before and I felt awful but I didn't say anything.
When I'd been paired with him and became close to him, I forced them to stop and leave him alone.
In the end he said he would and each time I met up with Harry, I made sure he was okay and nothing had happened.
But he'd lied to me!
I jumped up from my seat, anger bubbling throughout my whole body.
"You told me they'd stopped!!" I yelled, earning a stern look from a few students.
"T-they d-did," he stuttered, his voice just above a whisper.
"Clearly they haven't Harry!" I shouted, throwing my hands up in frustration.
"I'm going to kick his fucking ass!" I growled.
I turned on my heel, ignoring Harry's pleas for me to stay and leave it.
